I really hated how in the movie Gage killed Jud silently.

In the book he taunted him first. Told him about seeing his wife in hell, how she cheated on him during their life, even mimicked his wife's voice to verbally terrorize him.

In the movie Gage seemed liked mindless killing zombie. In the book he came across has a sadistic calculated killer.
