You can already see his influence in fighters like Andre Ward and Andre Direll who have a similar stance and quickness, and have said numerous times that Mayweather is one of their favorite fighters.

I think they both will have a hard time with each other but manny will have the harder time trying to hit floyd. Manny fights very wildly with a style that leaves him open for counter attacks. He throws a variety of punches running in to try and overwhelm his opponent which in his case is good because he has speed + power that can overwhelm fighters. Mayweather on the other hand is a great defensive counter puncher and can fight going backwards, won't hurt manny but it will spell trouble for him

Who made this video? I'm impressed with how the narrator even explained how Floyd is a master dirty fighter at the end. This is an overlooked part of his game. He's not so offensive in the ring, but he does have a very complete offensive arsenal.

@DARKRANMA26 a class A fighter is a class A fighter.they may get old and lose some reflexes but add a lot more wisdom but they remain class A.they only become class B if they get really old and those guys like judah and baldomir are never class A.they got to be class A at some point but a class B will always go back to being class B before they even get old.floyd beat only two class A's.mosley and oscar.he almost went down to mosley and he even got a controversial decission with oscar.

@sinistercharlie no. i mean holding. hatton doesn't tie up and hit, he holds and hits. mosley has that habit of jumping in with a punch and "tying up" afterwards but after a full fight of it, tying up just doesn't fit. berto has similar tactics. everything that is done in the ring is at the discretion of the referee so his elbows/ forearms to counter their tactics is as legal as everything else being allowed.

Im a Floyd admirer but an honest analysis has to acknowledge that this 'great flexibility in the waist' is merely an unusual willingness to break the rules by ducking below waist level. I think they both will have a hard time with each other but manny will have the harder time trying to hit floyd. Manny fights very wildly with a style that leaves him open for counter attacks. He throws a variety of punches running in to try and overwhelm his opponent which in his case is good because he has speed + power that can overwhelm fighters. Mayweather on the other hand is a great defensive counter puncher and can fight going backwards, won't hurt manny but it will spell trouble for him

Floyd's style is being studied and even being taught by many boxing instructors today!! Nobody is coming to the gym wanting to learn how to fight like Pacquiao (no disrespect to him at all). @DARKRANMA26 so i am right that oscar was not dehydrated.long time ago the official weigh in is on the fight night.many boxers died at that time becuase they fought dehydrated.they changed the rule.the official weigh in is the day before the fight to let the boxers rehydrate.oscar got a lot of time to rehydrate.it is impossible for him to come in the fight dehydrated and it is impossible for him to reach 8 rounds fighting dehydrated.oscar was not dehydrated.he was underweight.
