@ShiniNoMegami I made the karaoke on my old computer which died, so unfortunately I don't have a copy anymore. But you can make your own karaoke by downloading the song, splitting the left and right channels, inverting the right channel, and then mixing it down to one mono track. Best wishes!

Actually, come to think of it, I can just imagine the investment bankers on Wall Street singing this song when Occupy and Anonymous come bashing down the doors.
These lyrics are spot on, and I hope people can see the political meaning behind the song. To put it an easier way, think of North Korea; no seriously, really do that. The metaphor here is that the doll represents the Kingdom of Hou in the story. There is presented the illusion of prosperity, but that prosperity is just that, only an illusion.
There were days where I'd have the tune in my head but I could never remember more than the first line of lyrics. It's a gorgeous song, * tries to commit lyrics to memory* ... But it doesn't fit the history of that kingdom, I guess that's kinda the point. A song about the kingdom the king was striving for even as he beheaded his subjects for the smallest offenses... Thank you for uploading this! :)
@RatmanS Thanks for listening. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I still hope there's a chance that Ono will continue writing, and that a studio - if not Pierrot - will pick up the series where it left off.
@nijibug The problem is that while Ono did finish the series, no one has picked them up long enough for all of it to be translated. I have the first four written books, and was hopeful that the last three would be translated, but they were dropped before they could be. And the last on was about Taiki's return to the Twelve Kingdoms!!
@FruitsandCoffee Yes, haha, it's funny-looking isn't it? xD I rewound the scene a couple of times to fill up room. Their gravity-defying water sleeves (google that) remind me of waterbending (if you're familiar with Avatar: The Last Airbender). :'D
Well this was a very pleasant surprise. I'm instinctively skeptical of other-language covers of songs, but this was very impressive! :)

Is there any chance that you would send me the karaoke you used for this dub? I might be singing it at a festival at my university

Who thinks Shoukei got prettier later in the series than when she first appeared?

Very lovely indeed. I can't say how happy I am to have found this.
Really captured the spirit of the song, makes me remember just how much Shoukeu grew in the series. A shame it could not have gone on...
Thank you. *smiles*

This is a lovely cover.
Even if some of the scenes are backwards. It's really odd to see the sleeves of the girls going against gravity like that. XD
