We get really big ones where i live, i reckon i've seen a few close to record where i live, big bass and sea trout swim amoungst them too, like a wolf in sheeps clothing! Do you see much bass or sea trout too?
@JamesWaton There's a lot of anglers fishing for Bass at this location and catching them. The Bass are usually further out tough, I'm not sure if there's a trout run but I have fished the Frome for Mullet and you can see Sea Trout there from the bridge very clearly. So do you go for the Mullet much where you are? It's a bit late here for them now I think although I have seen 'em in November so I might pop down this weekend.
@KnockoffNigeI I don't fish for the mullet mainly, i like to catch a meal and mullet taste a bit......rubbish to be fair :P also hard to catch, but when we do fish for them we use a spinner with a long mustard hook instead of a treble, with ragworm tailing off the back. But where i live, if theres mullet theres bass and a seatrout caught a 4 pound sea trout the other week, but yeah, there are VERY big mullet where i live, ones that if i hooked them my chances of stopping them would be very slim
