bears is a must win if they wanna win the divison, and detriot probably gonna be a gimme, but anything could happen. So if we can beat these two teams then we stil in it, what im worry about is gb's schedule. they have car, hou, jac, chi, and det, while we have ch, det,ari,atl, and the giants, i hate to say it but gb could still win the divison. the only team i see gb losing to is carolina, and maybe jacksonvile.

We flat out got dominated in the trenches.

Sorry O-Line play resulted in pressures, sacks, negative run plays, and 3 and outs.

Defensive front seven got schooled. Anytime we even got pressure, Garcia just shuffled around and made the Vikings look stupid.

Time of possession in the second half was sickening. Tampa being a good team is no excuse for them to play like that.

The late turnovers may have been the dagger, but the line play was the meat and potatoes of that game.

Gus Frerotte doesn't suck! He's a pretty good back up. If we started him our record would of been 7-3. At least he made our passing game alive unlike jackson who fuckin hesitates when to throw. That guy will never learn, he's too scared thats why u see him run all the time. He never looks down the field for anyone. U guys gotta observe more on jackson. Years ive been watching football... i never seen such a horrible qb in my life. Why the hell did brad childress even compare him to McNabb?

vince young is almost exactly like jackson, and nobody seems to be bitching about him, and atleast jackson trys to get first downs with his legs when no one is open down the field and not stand like a statue, jackson also took us 8-4 last year without the recievers we have this year, and the recievers were droping balls in the first two games,also his stats were exactly like AR's in the first game. he was pulled too early nuff siad.

Yes,It's true that jackson has the legs but he's no vince young. Jackson needs to use that playbook more often than his legs. If he keeps on running ever single time he's going to get hurt. Look what happen last season and pre-season. The guy got hurt! If you want to support jackson and believe he is still the future go ahead, watch.. were all going to be disappointed again. I just hope next year derek anderson or cassle will be our QB.

jackson needs to use the playbook more? i think it's more like Childress needs to open up the playbook to him, the play calling has always been predictable, and jackson did pretty well when they really did open up the playbook for him in the second half of that greenbay game. we would of won that game if shancoe didn't run the short route that led to an int. same with the colts game, if shnacoe didn't drop that td pass, or the tampa game if hicks and taylor didnt'fumbled, give me ur thoughts.

They benched Jackson after 2 games against 2 TOUGH secondaries (Packers, Colts) WITHOUT Bryant Mckinney!! The Vikes had everything they needed this season but Childress is a puss looking out for his job instead of trying to win right now! I still think the Vikes can win the division but they need to step up and like you said, we need help from NYG & AZ. Ferrotte sucks and don't give him props for not throwing any INT last week. he didn't make any big plays when we needed him & he sucks!!!!!!

I read somewhere that it might be beneficial for the Vikings to at least get Jackson on the field for some trick/wildcat plays. I think that'd be interesting.

I still think Childress pulled the plug on Jackson too soon, and I would love to know what his numbers would be now if he had stayed in, but we'll never know.

Garcia's a good player, but no spring chicken. I'm hoping for Booty to learn quick and/or Minnesota gets Anderson or maybe even Cassel.

spdfrk1087 why don't you take a look at the play calling instead of the QB early in the second half 2 play action passes in a row down to the 30 of tampa then we don't let Gus throw and run it for negative plays out of field goal range... Down 16-13 we get the ball on our 36 yard line 3:32 left in the 4th 3 straight passing plays and that was it from that point forward i knew we had lost.. Quit lookin at Gus when we are the most predictable offense in the Nfl..

OK I'm pissed! We could have signed Garcia before the 2007 season! He made plays. Our D line got pressure on him, but he avoided the pressure! Ferrotte, on the other hand, is a statue back there! Ferrotte SUCKED! The stats don't show how bad he sucked. it's not sacks or INT's it's consistently NOT MAKING PLAYS when we needed him! I will be the first to say it- we would be better off with Jackson! At least he gives us a chance to win! errottte gives us NO CHANCE! He sucks!!

yes and tjack is not a statue he like to move around and his scrambling ability is not bad either, i been wayin all season they pull him out too early, i want him back bad.
