  • As if adding 3 berries would make this anymore healthier.

  • "Top with fresh berries."

    Berries! Berries and, what else?

  • hi, may I know what type of egg do you use? Is that chicken egg??

  • @nurulshuhadaimran Yes, one chicken egg is used

  • En español

  • I just love cheesecake!

  • substitution for egg, anyone? thanks

  • @lovelysister There are no known substitutions for the egg used in this recipe. We apologize for the disappointment this causes.

  • @lovelysister egg beaters?

  • @lovelysister

I would try almond oil. I've never made cheese cake with it, but I've used it with good results with pastries.

  • Not Extended!

  • sadly i lack that big beautiful fancy electric mixer

  • looks like moose

  • what must i do for the cup of sugar i live in europe and here we bake with gr.

  • @pleoci Unfortunately, we don't have a substitute for the sugar. The recipe was tested using ingredients that are readily available in the U.S.

  • @KraftCookingSchool I think that person meant grams. =)

  • @KraftCookingSchool you didnt understand the question i see. the person is asking for the weight in grams for one cup of sugar. thanks!

  • @pleoci Try 200 grams of sugar.

  • @RememberMe43 ok thx =D

  • @pleoci 1 cup = 110 gr ;)

  • @Mieke2Sayana thx ;))

  • @pleoci 200grams=1cup of granulated sugar

  • @pleoci One cup is about 190g

  • @pleoci Sorry for originally misinterpreting this question. Our Kraft Kitchens do not use metric measurements so we had to look to the USDA Nutrient Database which suggests that 1 cup of sugar = approx. 200 grams.

  • @pleoci go to ikea and buy a measure glass or measure cups/spoons they do have different models even here in germany

  • @pleoci Just add 1 cup of sugar - but 1 cup of sugar is the same as 196 grams ;)

  • Hi, the recipe calls for a 9x13 inch cake pan but I want to use a 9.5 inch springform pan.

I was just wondering if the measurements should change if I decide to use the springform pan over the cake pan.

Also, if I use the springform pan will I have to bake the cake/pie (whatever it is), does this mean I have to change the temperature??

If anyone can answer me that would be awesome :) thank you so much.

  • @TrippJacks We don't recommend making this recipe using a springform pan. Changing the pan will require you to adjust the baking time and we can't guarantee that it will turn out after these adjustments. If you're looking to make a chocolate cheesecake using a springform pan, we recommend that you try making "Our Best Chocolate Cheesecake" recipe instead. You can find it on our website.

  • Is there a good substitute for the semi-sweet chocolate? I barely see this chocolate in Malaysia. I love this recipe. I'm gonna make one next time.

  • @PurpleLashess There's unfortunately no good substitue for the semi-sweet chocolate squares required in this recipe. Trying to substitute may affect the flavor of the cheesecake and how it turns out since Baker's semi-sweet chocolate squares are formulated to melt easier and to include the right amount of sweetness needed for this recipe.

  • Is there a good substitute for the semi-sweet chocolate? I can't really find them here in Malaysia. This is a really nice recipe. Gonna try it one day.

  • Can I baket it in the microwave?

  • @agth2008 We do not recommend using a microwave as it is a significant amount of batter and would most likely cook very unevenly.

  • Sale delicioso el pay, muchas gracias por la receta

  • Hear attack in a BITE!

  • do you separate the cream from the cookies before crushing??...

  • @Jooelz The entire Oreo cookies should be crushed. There is no need to separate the cream filling from the Oreo cookies.

  • @KraftCookingSchool coolies thanks for the reply...

  • Tss i promised my self i would watch this kind of video's .... now im hungry ¬¬

  • omg..H-E-A-V-E-N!

  • i tried this.........it was not good

  • Oh mah gooodness!!!! This is DELICIOUS!!!!

It's so DELICIOUS i'm gonna dieeeeeeeee!!!

  • Ugh effort

  • do i need to prepare a water bath for this cheesecake

  • @heukolo For this recipe the foil is used to lift the cheesecake from the pan in lieu of a water bath.

  • Did anyone make this? was it good?

  • looks good but I hate how everything is a kraft commercial :(

  • No Sour Cream/cream?

  • @benedicttubio Hi-This recipe calls for Philadelphia Cream Cheese and not sour cream. The complete ingredient list is posted at the end of the video. Thanks.

  • it looks yummy.but this is heart attack on a plate!

  • how to divide this recipe ?

  • lol i know this isn't going to make a difference but u can substitute to make this a little more healthier

instead of 1/2 stick of butter; use 1/4 cup (same measuremeant) of i can't believe it's not butter light. it takes away some of the calories AND colesterol =)

also instead of 1 cup of sugar, use 1 and 1/8 cup of splenda low cal sweetener.. you use 1/8 cup more because remember splenda isn't sugar so yea.. i did my substitiutions with the same recipe and i got AMAZING results still =)

  • && Do you have to use the chocolate ? Would i need to change anything to not have the chocolate?? PLEASE REPLY ! (: Thank You

  • can you bake the cheesecake ? Thank You (:

  • do we need sour cream? other videos show sour cream included, would it be better with sour cream? if so, how much do we need for this recipe? :)

  • im curious because usually when i cook cheesecake i use a water bath is there a reason y this one doesn't require one?

  • @bigfoot070 Hi bigfoot070- The water bath is a common method used to remove cakes from the pan. For this recipe the foil is used to lift the cheesecake from the pan in lieu of a water bath. Thanks for the question!

  • la mantequilla le da unsabor salado a la galleta?

  • @tutybu2010 no a menos que uses mantequilla salada (que ya tiene sal)

la mantequilla es solo para que se que se pueguen bien las galletas molidas

  • how many calories are in one piece of the cheese cake?

  • what tpye of spoon do you mix it with? it looks like a spade i cant think what its called

  • @MakeUpByJenniferW it's called a spatula =)

there are 3 types of spatulas fyi

  • I want this. hahaha

  • woooo

  • i tried making this today...... what a disaster! the top was all crusty, and the inside was all gooey

  • oh,oven for what????

  • My mom made this, and i couldnt poop for a week X(

  • @Monster4rmda559 not the best place to put that comment >w>

  • that look so yummy and creamy also rich ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • lmfao XD

  • what is the need for the eggs in every cheesecake? plz answer someone

  • @shanagurl112 Great question! The eggs provide flavor, structure and thickening to the baked cheesecake. Eggs also help the cheesecake rise thereby providing leavening, which keeps the cheesecake from being too dense or from collapsing.

  • @KraftCookingSchool thx so much

  • How much is your 1 pkg of semi-sweet chocolate? 200g?

  • They make philadelphia look cheap

  • instead of using melted BAKER's semi-sweet chocolate .. can i substitute it with COCOA ?

  • @runaway14344 We don't recommend substituting cocoa for the Baker's semi-sweet chocolate since it may affect the final taste and texture of the cheesecake. Thanks!

  • @KraftCookingSchool Love da double chocolate cheesecake & I made it 2day. 1 question. U aid bake da Oreo cookie crumbs n da oven 4 10 minutes, y is dat?

  • O god, so nice... I'm making this, lol

  • Oh yea, because adding 3 berries is going to make it so much more healthier.

  • @wtfisonyouface

It wasn't suppose to make it healthier, it's a topping to add more flavor. Or fruity flavor. xD

  • @wtfisonyouface the point is not to make it healthier but to add taste, variety, and good looks....

  • @wtfisonyouface your right :)

  • I know its fattening..but you don't eat the whole cheesecake in one sitting ,right ?and maybe you're not that selfish by not sharing it to others.

  • @emerjayd Says you! :D

  • @AldebaranEnt Why didnt u look at a low fat recipe instead than??

  • I love cheesecake!!!!

  • only if these yummy desserts are fat-free and healthy, I'd be eating them everyday of my life,oh well, coming back to reality

  • @hellsing3x6 Fat is good for the body. It houses calories which give bodies energy. Besides, there are additives in fat-free foods unless they are organic.

  • oh my gosh I completely forgot the eggs when I made this!! :S I hope it still turns out ok...

  • this is no cheesecake, this is a stroke in disguise

  • I can't wait to make this~ =D

  • can you use like a regular choclate bar instead of what they used

  • That's the problem with monitors. You can't stick your head in and take the dessert.

  • lol SOOO TRUE

  • Ohmygosh, I know... That looks so good I'm about to cry :( Aaaaaah.

  • In the video it says one package of chocolate but then the information on the side says 4 packages! I'm guessing you go with one package because I made it with about less then 2 packages (because I was making 1/2 a bactch) and it seemed like too much chocolate

  • You mis read. it was four pakages of PHILLY.

  • Leave it in. I made it and left it in and it was goooooooooood.

  • The oreos,Do you have to take the frosting out or leave it in?I`m confused :(

sorry of the tons of questions :P

  • What's a good, cheaper substitute for Baker's Semi Sweet chocolate?

  • I usually just use a hershey chocolate bar. It hasnt really made a difference in texture or anything

  • thanks for your suggestions! :D

  • Does anyone have suggestions on what else to put on top of the cheesecake besides berries?

  • chocolate curls... use a vegetable peeler and a chocolate bar.

I think strawberries go better with chocolate then blueberries

  • Hot fudge or hot caramel drizzled over the tom would be fantastic.

  • this looks so good!!!!!!!!

  • omg

    heart attack right there lol

  • thanks

  • YUMMY!!!!

  • uhh do we use the whole oreo or do we scrape off the cream?

  • Use the whole oreo.

  • I Believe you take the cream off of the oreo

  • u dont take the cream off the oreo, you just crush it, u wont even see the cream, if u were suppose to take the cream off, they would of mentioned that.

  • it doesn't really matter if you scrape the cream off right?

  • Well the cream is the thing that makes it stick. But idk, cause i'm not rlly a master at cooking.

  • mmm...

*tries to grab out of monitor*

    Darn.
