Aww. He's looking for pebbles and rocks etc that you would find on a river bed. then he would move them and or play/chew them. Mine does it in the beck where we go. This is soo cute.

my border collie sam HATES water. When we rescued him we found out he was caged from 3 months to 3 yrs old. :( and maybe thats why. best dog in the world. Now he loves long walks and car rides.

It seems to be a common thing for these dogs, mine is only half BC but when I take her to the fountains or river, same thing. I'd get her a pool too but I'm in an apartment.

My bc tried to chase waves with it's mouth, sometimes ending up falling off a rowing boat. He would sometimes even throw up after drinking so much water so we had to keep a close eye on him when we were on a lake.

my border collie loves the water. she'll dive in and swim around, but hates the little kiddie pools.  weird. she used to dig at them too, but once she got in the lakes and ponds she decided that kiddie pools were bad.

I knew a boarder collie once, he was a bit unpridictable and bit my dad which has givin me a slight fear of this breed i kno that not every collie is like that but i cant help but be nervous vids of cute collies like this build my confidence back up its a rele cute dog!lol Xxx

My neighbor had a boarder collie and it was a grump too he was a real big suck but he wanted to be intimidating so he would growl at everyone he didn't know and give em such a nasty snarl but really he never bit no one once you got close enough to pet him he eased up but i was always scared of boarder collies because of how nasty this one was. but now that i'm not a kid no more i understand that its a really good breed and all breeds are good so long as the owners know how to train em

soggynippleses~ Deffo i feel very strongly that 1 breed of dog isn't bad and 1 good there's always good and bad in each breed! I owned a Rottie and people were terrified of her and used to be rude to my parents saying they shouldn't have her round me cos i was only 4/5 but she wouldn't ever touch a soul esspecially not me!! Ours must be a "wuzz" she will go in the shallow part of the river up to her ankles ! then walk backwards to get out.
