  • I wanna know where this guy is at so he can help me with my titan 450 that i already crashed befor i even got to fly it,, bad servos

  • how can i fix my servo gear for novos 125 cp the gears are loose

  • that tx can have almost every thing done with the pc interface that came with the kit. just have to plug it into the computer via the usb cord. and run the cd software that i saw in the box.

  • oh by the way dave you can reverse the servos in the t6 config no idea if you installed it or not but cutin the wires works just as good

  • well dave i finnaly did it i crashed my blue ray LOL broke my head busted a rotor and bent my tail boom and broke my tail servo mount ill be upgrading my head to the cnc along with the tail assembly ahahahah

  • ofng the exact same thing happened to me. busted the head rotor and it bent the tail boom and shit lol

  • lmao funny huh i got the EXI alumnium head and tail assemby

  • hey dave i just got my blueray 450 today whats the button on the transmitter right by the E on the label? a self destruct feature?

  • DAVE THIS THING IS A BEAST!!!!!!! i just came back in from my blue rays maiden flight!!!!! has to be the best thing ive ever flown!!!!!!! SHES SMOOTH AS SILK......... i wish i recorded it wow really wow.....

  • wondering the same

  • you can always use a trex 450 v1 manual.. {assuming these still use the 3mm feathering shaft} it is a knock off after all :)

If tedious repairs are not your thing, heli's probably arent the hobby for you....lol at least the way i fly :)

  • what music are you using in this video?

  • I am a monster truck RC guy and know al little about Helis. I flew some flight simulators.

I would like to thank you for sharing this great how to video and you seem to be a very calm guy, what you need in order to fly helis HA. Anyways I will stick to surface RC, I don't see myself repairing that every 10 minutes.

    greta music too.

  • well thats why you learn on a co axiel helicopter learn the characteristics ect then baby step your way to the big toys its what i did i went from a axe cx micro to a clunker hummingbird FP to the blue ray 450 se

  • there is some really good info in this video thx dave for all the good lessons i alway look forward to seeing new vids

  • where the hell is Herbert guys he hasn't answer none of my questions,or youll;s

  • thats awsome, i was i can trim my helicopter like that

  • Hi ewerybody.....

  • Nice work. Thanks for sharing!!!

I liked the trimming stand idea.

  • you should change all the cyclic servo to the sam servo they all run at differnt speeds

  • That is the coolest Helicopter trimming stand i have ever seen!

  • can da blue ray pe fly extreme 3d like da trex 450 se v2

  • Herbert du u know as da maximum FFF speed in mph for da Blue Ray 450 PE

  • A couple comments.

The tx can be set up w/ the USB cable that should have come with it. There is a video on how to set this up on my Youtube page plus a link to my website where I have the files plus default configurations. If you use t6config you will be able to reverse the servos as well as better level your swash and set up pitch curves. I also do not recommend one to replace only 1 servo with a different type on the swash. That would give possible imbalalance and unwanted mixing.

  • I just ordered a 450 legend is that a good choice for a novice?

  • i;m still wating over

  • Come on Herbert do some real 3d flying with the Blue Ray show us what she can do

  • hey dave i have a Blue Ray 450 PE and was wondering when u r gonna fly extreme 3d with it and do some tic tocs asap please

  • I have a Blue Ray 2 and was wondering was the maximum forward speed in mph

  • Hey Dave, a brave video my friend, I know how hard it it to work on the heli and film at the same time!

One idea for you, have you heard of a 'solder sucker' or 'solder pump'?

These are sprung loaded, you hold its tip near to to a solder joint, heat the joint and use the pump to suck all the solder away!

That would let you remove the wires from that servo motor very easily! sorry if I am telling you stuff you already know.

  • hey dave, what is that beautiful backround music you have going with the vid..i'd love to get this track. by the way, excellent vid once again! boy do you have a steady hand!

  • thank you very much for letting us watch your repair.i always find it very interesting.

  • Dave, ever thought of investing about 9 bucks and get a fine tip soldering gun? Makes life easier when soldering in close areas.

  • Hi, Dave. Did you build the test stand? I would like to have something like that to set up my helis. Thanks.

  • Very nice video Dave, I always learn something new when watching your videos. Thanks!

Lol at 09:58 something white drops from the back of the heli, looks like it pooped. lol! ;-p

  • lol yeah seen that but looks like road debris that was stuck to his orange floaty things (can't recall name).

  • Is the Blue Ray receiver compatable with Spectrum transmitters?

  • Comment removed

  • Thank u verrrrrrrrrrrry much! i lovvvvvve u

    (im a boy)

  • I like it, and I also like the music from the video.

  • admit it Dave, The Blue Ray may be a superior HELICOPTER to the Blade400, But even YOU have to admit the Blade400 is the better package of the two because of the included DX6i....but if it violates your contract with xheli the less said, best said on this subject ;)

  • most transmitters have revers switches on them or programed in. So you wont have to worry about hta too much

  • That is why they make computer radios :-)

  • it looks like a t-rex clone?!

  • it is a trex clone, and its a very good one juding by the tail close ups ;)

  • One day clones will rule the earth!

  • Dave, your teststand is ingenious... i have been thinking about something like this...but then thought "well if it would work, somebody else would have done it already" an i dropped the idea again- but you showed me that its worth trying it...nice :)

  • cool test stand

  • Great vid Dave! Even the pros can get silly and crash sometimes!

  • uber cool job dave i like soddering i actualy caniblized a servo that was broke with one that was broke and made one with the two that worked but id never chance it on my hummingbird i have karbonite gears in her lol hitec hs-65hb

  • Awesome Dave! Great vid and loved the music.

  • Nice job Dave! Another great instructional video! Looks like you're back in business. Just curious, why did the wires on that servo need to be reversed?

  • Thanks alot Dave i really enjoy watching your videos!

  • :-)

  • Nice work Dave. Great music for this video. Where can I find this song?

  • thats a good looking machine,it sounds nice when it takes off, your the man Mr H

  • sweet video & music

  • Nice one Dave and i like the look of that heli and great to see you are still using your heli stand as i still have mine which i made from your video's of it :-) 5*

  • Good job Dave... thats one beautifully designed helicopter.

  • nice dave. its a cool heli. i have the belt cp v2 to learn on :) i can fly 3d now

  • Nice job on the repair!

Yea, always best to use metal gear servos with high torque. I just had my aileron servo die during my flight cos the motor burnt because of low torque.

  • thats Nice Dave. PLease make a new video of your blue ray flying . Just kind of curious how the heli fly after the crash . Thank you by the way, it's really informative. I have one blue ray myself, and thankfully, i havent crashed her yet.

  • Nice

  • 1st Comment! Ty for the tips Mr. Herbert I am interested in buying an Exceed RC blue ray(the one with the plastic parts) and i had red in rcuniverse forums that if it will crash almost all servos will need replacement.

  • Nice work
