  • 2:26 WTF !

  • uh.

  • damn you're gooooOOood nice work

  • I Was watching as usual when 2:27 ROFL!

  • u should draw your own face that will incredible :D

  • @lumthegreat He did in his documenary

  • Sausage and Bean method FTW!

  • this is brilliant man keep up the work

  • wow your drawing style is almost like my own except I use all circles with the exception of the rib cage and hardly use the stick figure set - up in most cases but all in all this legit.

  • :) Awesome

  • these videos are actually ''how to draw'' videos; while other videos are more likely to be ''watch me draw'' videos.

  • @YouGayTubes most of the people just can't learn from those videos, but believe it or not they're really helpful, you just have to be fast or pause the video :)

  • hmm.. Cool.. But..... I draw blondies :D

  • 6:28 O.o

  • @abhishekjugdar heh *snickers nervously*

  • These drawings are awesome!!

  • No. 1 rule for drawing: find your own style. There are many approaches to drawing. This guy uses a skeleton, others use circles, and others (like me) use cubes. Experiment to find the one that best fits you!

  • @samuentaga i dont use anythin what you told above i just draw the gesture from what i see and add the muscles ...is it wrong??

cos i get okay results but not to my utter satisfaction and im just started on figure drawing

  • lol 2:27

  • @Sycra i really like your methods... maybe by using your techniques i can become better at drawing in paint. that is what you were using right?

  • what program

  • hey what did you use

  • at first i didnt know you were drawing a skeleton and was like wtf? lol

  • i like the music :D

  • the andrew loomis aproach!!!

  • dude I fallow your directions on 1st body, but mine get out better...idk how, I'll post the video...btw thanks

  • creepy but very cool

  • it feels like you know anatomy very well.

  • Wow, dude (If you're a girl, it would sound really stupid :P), you're an awesome drawer! I wish i could draw like you <={

  • обалдеть, мне так понравилось, по всей видимости с пропорциях собаку съел,))) я обычно руки с ногами по сорок раз по длине подгоняю.

  • the first couple of seconds i thought you were drawing a stick figure and i was about to exit the video but then i saw that you were drawing a body, not two really skinny arms.

  • Ah, Ravel's Pavane for a dead princess. Very nice.

  • very good training you are a true modern artist.

  • I decided to try and imitate the first picture, and I think my sketch looks pretty good. I always wanted to draw, so I can put pictures with my writing. I always wished I could draw like I wrote. Thanks for putting me in the right direction; I can draw one heck of a naked-sketch guy (but not as good as you, of course). lol. Now how am I going to clothe him? hmm....

  • lol, I like how the first one is a clean, anatomy-like sketch, and then you give him pink undies, frizzy hair and a devious smile.

  • disegni davvero bene! complimenti! non mi era mai venuto in mente di disegnare la gabbia toracica e il bacino nella bozza iniziale!

  • never was good with bodies lets hope i can learn from this

  • Lines too sketchy.

    Anatomy not very good.

  • @aprat Well it IS a sketch.

And hm? The anatomy looks perfect.

  • I'm pretty good with structures, vehicles, landscapes... But god I just suck at drawing people.

  • @gogoteca Same here..

  • TALENTED!

  • I Love Your Style

  • this isnt a tutorial video, this is a "i draw better than you" video

  • @Zachary7196 it doesnt say 'tutorial' as the title. it says 'drawing bodies'

  • @Jweify Fair enough

  • hey man thanks a lot, i was having a hard time finding a skeleton build that would fit my drawing style, and ive been practicing yours and it works for me, thank you a lot xD

  • 2:19 thought he was drawing a penis.

  • Execllent, I need to learn how to do this with a pencil first. ROFL

  • That's the easierst tutorial I've seen here - Awesome job

  • nice work[:D]

  • nice

  • you have a lot of talent!

  • Great!!!! Thanx !!!! :)

  • @ Imusho

You gain skill by acauly drawing, nothing on youtube is going to help you draw but yourself.

  • i think your technique is perfect, i never thought of using the skeleton to draw....im only 13 anyway :/

  • Very interesting. Thanks for the upload dude.

  • hey there =) I just wathed your videos today. I want to say thanks for posting up your videos. Learned a lot =) and you are definitely an amazing artist. this one was neat. you drew out the bones and put meat over it. Beautiful! Keep it up.

  • ur an artist man

  • sycra you are good but you sucks to hair? ;D

  • this isn't a tutoriel .!

  • Comment removed

  • Practice and observation. it doesn't really say "how to draw bodies" anyhow. It says "drawing bodies" which mandates no particular fulfillment of how to do it.

  • How?

    By drawing... I guess.

  • You can know it by looking at it. Not on just watching it without understanding how he does it.

  • @lmusho You sit asking stupid questions ,get to drawing and studying anatomy Shitney! Theres no magic you got to put in serious work! So get to steppn SHITNEY!

  • @Screamingdk actualy there is... i had a hard time drawing from my mind and focuses on my drawing... and i put an elastic band on my wrist (not too tight and i take it off if my hand feels any numbness) and i sudenly became calm and my hand felt relaxed and was able to draw a lot smoother and my drawings seen a huge improvement since then im totaly satisfied! try it before you go saying not good idea xD i experience clearer vision calmness and frustration drops to zero does tons 4 my performanc

  • @lmusho take a look at How to Draw the Female Figure .. i have the same problem as u

  • @lmusho ok err to start with that when you draw the head, each side to the shoulder is one head wide, from the collar to the hip's is around 2 and a half head's tall, the top of the arm i'e from the shoulder balde to the elbow, the elbow stop's at the bellybutton or just above, and the bottom half of the arm stop's at the lower part of the thigh's being the same length as the top half of the arm, the leg's are just the same as the arm's rule wise, but they are much longer. around 4 head's tall

  • @lmusho Actualy it's a good lesson for ones who already can draw body somehow.

    this gives good tips.

  • @lmusho Me 2 man if u get an answer tell me!

  • @lmusho You read books, tutorials, and study from real life untill you know it from thought.

  • good

  • 2:27 lol

  • yeah... LOL.

  • Pencil...?

  • totally awesomeee!!!! 5 starssssss!! well i wanted to give it 100 stars but there are only 5 :(

  • SWEEEEEET

  • Can you give a tutorial with pencil

  • @babyfacepimp20 what's the difference between digital and pencil? You don't need to be spoon-fed, it's the same principal. Just try it out.

  • @babyfacepimp20 just copy what he does with a pencil or the techniques he does i did it and it looks very good, o ya keep practicing

  • T.T the last one???

  • thank you.

  • lol let the video load then scrub back and forth, you don't need a tutorial since he's doing it right in front of you non stop.

  • this is great, iv been looking all over for a video like this it helps ALOT! if only it were a little bit more like a tutorial id have this down. :)

  • Thank you so much for this video! This is exactly what I have been looking for! ^^

  • For someone with no formal training, you certainly have a talent for conveying the human form.

  • wow!

  • thanks for the video, nice drawings! anybody know the name of the classic music?

  • Ravel- Pavane for a Dead Princess

  • thanks!

  • i learned the anatomy from jack hamm and giovanni civardi. both artists have books the specifically teach about the anatomy. jack was first, then giovanni. really, i learned the anatomy from them, then took what i learned and invented my own way of drawing it. once you memorize the basic anatomy, you won't even need actual models to draw from. you'll be able to create figures on your own. you've already got the grasp gesture drawing and figure movement.

  • i came upon your clips a week or so ago, i am an art teacher and have used your video clips in my classes the kids love them and also do I. thanks for sharing with us and keep them coming my kids are actually beginning to believe they can learn to draw.

  • you're using the gesture drawing technique to flesh out your figures. i learned with stick figures/geometric shape drawing. we're just 2 artists who learned different training methods. i actually can't do gesture drawing, just just drawing out of nowhere. i need a structure/form to start from. in my opinion, you're doing it harder/longer time, but i still salute your skill. your figures are coming out more natural. i could probably duplicate what you're doing in half the steps.

  • i'm just the opposite: i can draw the torso/figure quite well. it's the head i suck at. actually, i learned the "marvel way" using geometric shapes, then fleshing the shapes out to create the limbs/torso. to be honest, if you learn the muscle anatomy first, you can almost create your own way to draw the complete figure. i just don't have the computer drawing program to demonstrate for you.

  • I learned the manga way and to this day I am forever switching up how I draw, right now I'm trying to get into more realism but cant do it...

  • i learned propotions in 4th grade and im not this good

  • This is so weird!!

I dont like classical, but this is one of my favorite pieces ever. Idk how I found it, but i was just listening to it, then bam! Your video O: whoa

  • Might not be the easiest technique. But its still insightful in my opinion.

  • Sure thing glad to.

  • isn't an easy technique...

  • Very nice drawing tutorial! Thank you Sycra! Helps the drawing improvement!

  • I can't get the hang of this technique. For some reason even with practice. ;(

  • try to think of shapes, first.

  • Such as circles, cylinders squares etc.

  • yes.

It's a foundation of making 3d forms, besides shading.

  • good

  • thanks alot this really helped ;)

  • u draw really good i liek the drawings

  • 2:18 = frankensteins monster

  • it's nice, yeah its very good, long as it's i saw a draing in my level, ur nice, if you want to see my drawings visit my blog, chiiisai-sakura.skyrock.c om

  • Oops I accidently thumbed you up. I didn't like your comment cuz you didn't include the word pussy in it. ^_^

  • you make it look so easy (it's something i'll have to keep working on hehe) thank you for posting your video ^^

  • the miracle of creation, wonderful!!!

  • Is suffocating to death considered a good thing???

  • unfortunately, for some people it is

  • nice. i could watch you draw for ever. mmm. very nice.

  • have you got the dvds "structure of men" from riven phoenix?

your drawings remind me of his videos.

nice drawings anyway, thx for posting

  • really cool

  • cool :)

  • all were master peacess. Bravo :D

  • Tools:

    Painter IX

    Camtasia Studio

    Wacom Tablet

  • kool

  • It says in the discription he uses a tablet does anyone read!

  • wow.

  • I use blocks and circles on joints, and shape those instead of using lines, but I have a friend who does that... You draw very, very well, especailly using the tablet! But watch your proportions on that last one.

  • WAHT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVENT HAD ANY FORMAL TRAINING, OBVIOUSLY!!!! you draw amazing!!!

  • that is a little disturbing how acurate that is

  • cool how u draw with those shape and one the computer but me i draw diffenrent I just start straight through without using alll the shape your drawins r really good

  • ahhh.. i love drawing

  • Man u 2 are like lil chidren, y dont yol both grow up and xcept that difrent ppl hav difrent opinions, man grow up ppl, l8ta

  • ...thank you so much

  • Nice ^ ^ Are you using a tablet or a mouse?

  • a tablet obviously.

  • You can't be sure, my friend uses a mouse and its comes out great. Just takes a really long time :O

  • People quit arguing. This is just a video. The person that uploaded this video has fantastic artistic abilities and so does everyone that wants to learn how to draw =D

  • wow ppl are so negative. They just cant here something good of some other ppl.

  • kickass techniques

  • you use a program for draw that??

or you just draw it with a pencil and then do something on the computer?

Draw a lot youre soo goood

  • becouse he is not you dumb ass!

  • And that is relevant how, taking into account that this videos is to help people draw better?

Using the tools showed here, it's easier to get the shapes right and after lots of practice, you can draw freely. I'm guessing that's how your mate got his skill, by practicing. A lot.

  • to be completely perfectly honest no. =D

He never used any if those tools. I guess thats what you call natural Talent. =D

  • I wrote "by practicing", not "by using the tools showed in this video" but I do get your point.

And on a side note, talent is awesome. My talent envy grows every day as I, myself, try to get better at drawing and end up having to work really hard to take even small steps. Getting things "for free" is always nice.

  • BULL.SHIT.

  • JeaLOUsy.

  • no,common sense.even if you do have some friend that can draw with natural talent and not use any techniques(which is highly doubted),what do you get out of telling everyone that?if anything, that's just disrespectful towards the artist who made the video.

  • Well I could comment whatever I want. So thats what I felt like commenting. And NO my comment was not ment to be direspectful towards the artist of the video.

Besides mate, I already told the artist from this video that I wasnt trying to be a smartmouth with him. The bad thing about youtube is that you cant tell in what tone the ppl are commenting. And mine was not that of a poser.

But you gotta understand that some ppl do have real natural artistic talent.its just that you havent met them.

  • ok,first,I don't "gotta" understand anything, and I do suppose that there are people with natural tallent, but even If you werent trying to be a poser, was it really necessary for you to tell viewers of this video that?I understand what your trying to say,but since all this is on the internet, then no shit you cant tell what tone people are commenting in-which is why you really should watch what commets you make, even if you do mean no harm.

  • yes it was necessary cos that what i felt like commenting. and yes you gotta understand.

  • uh,no I dont

  • uh...yes you do.

  • how?

  • you JUST gotta understand that some ppl DO have natural artistic talent. Just cos YOU havent met one doesnt mean they DONT exist. .....duh!

  • well,am afraid that gothiccitizen is right my friend. Some people do have natural artistic talents. =D

  • dear god.

  • like WHOA

    "no formal training"....

    that, my dear, is talent

    im impressed

  • good sketch by the way!

  • nice tunes...piano, cool.

  • darn... i have a real hard time drawing the arms... and the fingers and stuff. i just dunno how to connect it to the body :-/ looks out of proportion when i draw...

  • something i did to help me with that is i drew a bunch of pictures of just the shoulders the worked out to the fingers

and tracing published artists helped me some too then when i wanna draw a hand a certain way i try to redraw one ive seen and knows works well

  • that was amazing

  • Wow, you have a really different drawing "technique" then what most artists I've seen have.

lol, I just use a few circles and boxes. xD

  • learn to draw hands :)

  • tablet lessons, no thank you

  • THAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS you rock

I learned a lot with your videos =D

  • O LOVE YOU SYCRA THANKS

  • very educational you have a great unerstanding of anatomy
