Ughhh I'm so jealous. I hate living in Tokyo. You're so lucky for living in Fukuchiyama. After almost three years my apartment looks so lived in, I'd love to see an update of yours!
@Jatisrose I'd be happy to post an update, but I moved out of Fukuchiyama about a year and a half ago. Living in Nagoya now. I have a slightly smaller, more expensive place now, but I dig living here.
i love your apartment.! its cute lol......how long do youu plan on living there in Japan?? && waht are youu in Japan for??......if youu dnt mind me askn?? cuz i want to live in Japan as well......&& were youu affected by the earthquake that happen'd todayy?? srry 4 askn so many questions lol :)
@hellokittypink091 hey! i have lived here for 2 years and will probably stay 1 or 2 more. I'm an english teacher here at some nearby high schools. Thankfully, where I live wasn't really affected by the earthquake. we had a little bit of shaking, but nothing major.
so waht made youu want to move to japan?? if youu dnt mind me askn??....&& I'll be comin ova to japan n aug cuz I'll be startn school there @ TUJ....do youu go to school there n japan??
Close to KFC, spacious, nice views. Dude, you GOTTA let me room with you. XD
"You walk in, you close the door, and then you shower" :O Thanks, all these years I never had a clue how to shower! And then you come along, and tell me. Thanks, man. XD
oh my gosh. you have no idea how much I love traditional asian styled apartments as in, with the sliding doors and all. your apartment is beautiful :)
@ReasonGuysCopyright You're absolutely right. It is roughly $600. The wages are fairly comparable to the US, I think. I actually make a little more here in Japan. BUT the cost of living in Japan is ridiculous.
@Susanlucena What you asked ... I'm dying to know how you SCORED and for only $600 per month!! That is UNHEARD of in Japan - Hell, it's unheard of here in the states!!!
Ooops I meant 307 not 312. Miss it heaps! Looks like they have been renovated since I was there. Does the same guy still own it, can't remember his name, spoke really good English and was really sweet.
Hey Code, I love your new place. My favorite part was you! :) I've watched it 3 times already. ha-ha! The view is awesome. The panel doors and floors are very Japanese! ;) I like that part! We can't wait till the next video. We love and and miss you very much.

how much did this kind of apartment cost?
xNeruCity 1 year ago
@xNeruCity This was only 60,000¥ a month. It's in a real small town though, so finding this much room for that price in the city could be a chore.
cknox183 1 year ago
@cknox183 assuming I understand right... 60,000¥ is about 600$ right?
How much are the wages compared with the U.s?

@cknox183 The cost of living meaning electricity+water+food+waste correct?
Basically, not to pry into your personal life, how much would you say it costs total per month in the place you live.

Dude!! You have a freakin' PALACE compared to some of the apartments I have looked at!! How did you score this place?? You rock!!
