My uncle in New Zealand has told me about the fantastic Rainbow Trout fishing there and is trying to lure (woohoo, pun intended) me there for a fishing holiday. I just may take the bait (sorry, I'll quit now)!
He Ha!!! Your real clever with your puns Tyler enjoyed them. I hope he can lure you over. I would imagine the fishing is a bit similar to Canada in the trout department.
@MisterCanning Glad you enjoyed the scenery here. I always take longer to find the right music for videos than doing the vid Ha Ha!!! Great to hear from you. Watched Billy Connelly taking us round New Foundland the other night it was awesome.
Carol, you sure know how to hurt a guy.lol.. Here I am in the snow and cold looking at this beautiful fishing expedition in such a scenic place. I enjoyed this fishing trip almost as if I had been there. Don't hurt to dream, I suppose. 5's for a wonderful video, THANKS, C.W.
what a beautiful place -- looks so peaceful -- that was some awesome photography- those fish are beautiful to !! what a good job to have !! maybe one day i can see the beauty in person !! great upload Carol thanx for sharing your part of the world with us !
@somncountry Gooday Rodney. The Clutha river is so beautiful and peaceful you would love drifting and fishing with Greg I love going with him just to film and take photos. Fish not as the huge Bass you caught thast day though eh?
I'm packing my fishing gear now. Where do I meet you for this awesome fishing. Awesome video and the trout are amazing. Reminds me when I lived In Alaska and fished for big Rainbows.
@xlinda1949x Oh I know I love the docos on Alaska some of it is very like New Zealand. Love to see you out here .Thanks Ron really lovely hearing from you.
I would not know one fish from another, so purely out of interest what do you call one of those fishes that they are holding up as trophies, fresh water salmon? I have no idea, info please they look good enough to eat.thoroughly enjoyed watching this, I thought fish came from a supermarkret freezer, usually in a blue and yellow box, with a splash of red just to catch the eye jejejej.seriously what are they all catching????.
@beachfrontal I replied to you and where did it go??? They are catching trout rainbow and brown trout. Some keep one to eat but most take the photgraph and then put it back. You will have to have a wee go at fishing David!
Now Carol lets get one thing straight, if anyone has been weeing in that water, then I don't think I want to go fishing there thank you very very much for the idea though, I thought it looked so nice and clean ,not so sure now though LOL hahahahaha wink wink .
@beachfrontal Ha Ha water to swift to worry about a bit of pee we would pull over to the bank for that. Always have a lovely packed lunch for clients sit under the trees to have that wonderful.
It all sounds so devine,it really does.I see it under the shade of a wide leafed tree, on a square red and white check tablecloth, with gogeous almost stewed tea from a vacume flask, Banana and suger sandwiches, and over ripe tomatoes and lots of salt sandwiches. sign me up.LOL Happy childhood memories.
awesome! a fisherman's dream.
