When i heard something "cracking" at the fire part, i thought it was him mashing the buttons XD Sound like ap retty cool game, although i wasn't born in the arcade generation.
I sure like RETRO GAMING, but I need & WANT THE ARCADES TO COME BACK INSTEAD OF HOME GAMING CRAP! I would like to meet people who love the social aspect of gaming instead of sitting at home and playing over a mic.

This is definitely the Arcade original. I own a copy of the PC Engine port, and know the differences between both versions. The FM Towns Marty port was arcade perfect. This is being played through MAME.
The reason the sound quality seems so poor is because it's an arcade game from 1988 which we got in 89. Just over 20 years old Shoe, that's how it would have sounded. As for owning the Original arcade board; if he did it would be worth a lot to a collector. That board is very rare in North America since the game was removed and even banned in some arcades do to parents complaining about satanic imagery and the extreme violence. I've got an emulated version myself, beats the ports hands down.

Greatest game EVER. Why can't Namco make one for PS3 or 360? They should've done it a long time ago...I'd love to see what they could do if it were in a Resident Evil/Silent hill type engine.
I played this game in Japan also back in the early 90s. I was only in the 2nd grade and they had it at the youth center out of all places! Remember to carry both shotguns on the 3rd level to kill the boss quickly.
Ah, memories. The last 3 stages of this weren't exactly the easiest, if memory serves me correctly. And that level 5 boss, what a pain! You handled it well enough mind
Well, couldn't you have hit the boss while she's laughing? Or is it that she's invulnerable while she's laughing?
That's my only question about the 5th boss. About the last two bosses, this video made them look so easy yet they're challenging for people who made it that far in the game.

Man this game used to scare me shitless when I was 3. But now, i just laugh at it and have alot of fun playing it on the Turbo Grafix 16 and Express.

As for if he has the actual arcade game, the answer is NO. It is extremely rare, so he is doing this through MAME.
I wish my computer would run this. I have tried, but it runs to slow on my PC. I need more ram and a better video card.
