Well, idiot, to play like Collins or Gabriel, just is being then.... They are supreme, nobody can play like then... This song is very good to cover... Congratullations!!!!
This is fantastic. Though I believe `The Musical Box,' is still the ultimate in Genesis recreations, I like your band more. A lot of time went into the visuals. Bravo! As moco365 said- please come to NYC! There are some festivals near the eastern seaboard like Nearfest (Fri.), RoSfest, etc. that would love to have you.
Looks like a chamber music ensemble... well, maybe it's what it is after all, modern chamber music. Great rendition, not even Banks could play live the fast part of the keyboard solo so good :) it's pretty tricky
Heck of a version of the tripiest song on the best album of all time!! Thank you for bringing it to us, Smiroldo... And I'm jealous that we don't have anything like this in Pittsburgh!! We need it, desperately!!
I still listen to this album regularly - original studio and live versions. One of the GREATEST albums of all time. It's fantastic to see it being performed. Great work guys!!
I agree that Collins, Ruthertford, Banks and Hackett should get a new singer and go on the road with it...
I've watched your Genesis videos. You guys are really good!! Thanks for posting these songs. I love "Riding The Scree". It's the best song on the Lamb.
You're welcome. You guys deserve it. Your setup is simple. You just play the stuff. As much as I love the Gabriel era music, I wasn't crazy about all the costumes he used. I think it would have been better if he just sang like you guys do. Maybe he'll do that if he ever does the Lamb again with the others. Otherwise, I think they should recruit the singer from "The Musical Box" and go out on the road with Steve Hackett. Keep it up. It's good you keep this classic music alive!!
Complimenti a tutti... Ma di dove siete??
man you guys have the music to a t. im 16 i just found listened to this record recently and its the first ive heard of genesis and im inlove with it

Well, your vocalist is no Peter Gabriel (and who is except maybe Phil Collins?) but musically, that's pretty goddamned good.
Excellent, in fact. I'm always glad to see their work performed. It deserves to be repeated.

@smiroldo72 I have, and I'm impressed. I can't imagine a more difficult band to cover. It's not like learning "Smoke on the Water," that's for sure!
I'm listening to y'all's cover of "Apocalypse in 9/8" in another browser tab right now. Jeez...
It just cut off too early, but still... Jeez.

@racookster, Are you serious? I thought the vocalist was exceptionally good! It's subjective, but I was duly impressed.

@greger1 Oh, I wasn't implying that he's bad at all, but as far as I can tell the instrumentalists are spot-on perfect. That's no small feat.
