  • Nice shot! As I sit here and watch this, I look up on my wall and recall the different times I myself was able to "Robin Hood"... while looking at the four sets of "now longer arrows" hanging there. Of course, my shots were with a compound bow. However, they ranged at distances of between 20-30 yards (two of each distance). Man do I miss those days of daily slinging arrows at some sort of target downrange! Again, very nice video, and awesome shooting!

  • @aloyalblue1 What a nice comment! Thank you for sharing your memories and thank for compliment. Could you perhaps shoot some arrows again some day? :)

  • @Trophybow1 I'm afraid current health related issues will lead me towards reliving past memories, instead of creating new ones these days. Keep slinging arrows young man, once you no longer can... you will be very glad that you did, while you could! Our passions are what keep us going, so participate within them passionately.

  • @aloyalblue1 Well then I Thank you Sir, for this advice. I will follow that. I wish you all the best. Perhaps you could share some experiments and your wisdom with us someday? By making some video about our opinions what comes to archery or by commenting our videos more someday if there is something you could point out?

Anyway than you for watching and commenting.

  • @Ninja7545 haha Thank you. But i wouldn´t dare to wear it ;)

  • LOVE THE MUSIC- WHOSE THE ARTIST? BTW WHy dont archers hold bow horizontal ?natives did & can hold arrows between knuckles of bow hand

  • @lmollot Thank you. I dont know the artist, this is uploaded from freeplaymusick-sites form the internet.

With all respect i believe that natives didnt actually hold the arrow between knucles when they shot. (?) I have tried to find information about the native ways and they DID hold the arrows on bowhand but not between knuckels. We can hold bow more horizontal too but it is easyer to pull the string this way. It is more natural to pull the string to full draw when the bow isnt so horizontal.

  • @Trophybow1 hi- thanx 4 reply- the place i saw amazon native man shooting short bow-with arrows between fingers , while hanging off tree branch -is near the END of movie" AT PLAY IN THE FIELDS OF THE LORD- it was a book in 60 s - & film director tried to get film rights for 30 years-finally they let him in 1990s- beautiful photography/music-based on true story of missionaries wrecking native culture

  • @lmollot Ok that is very interesting. I need to find that movie somewhere.

  • Beautiful shot

  • @blorchdude4 Thanks for watching!

  • how come you couldnt hit bullseye yet you could the arrow

  • how come you bouldnt hit the target yet you could hit the robin hood shot

  • @tzint56 As you see the first arrow was not shot to the target. It was already lost the feathers and it had no point on it so i just stucked it to the target. And i did not put that arrow on the bullzeye because this way i could see the arrow end better where to hit. The bullseye is black and so was the end of the arrow. But good question anyway :) I should have been thinking this when i planned this shot. I try to be smarter next time. Thanks for watching!

  • @luap1236 True ;) Thanks for watching.

  • What an accuracy, again! Congrats!

  • @abdulkabza Thank you Sir!

  • How many takes came before this one? lol.. .Great shooting ! -Nax

  • what kind of bow is that

  • @SuperReptilelover 54" long, 59#@28 of drawweight hunting / horsebow made by Falco Estonia. Model is Storm and you find videoseries about it if you want check my other videos. Or if you check it out from Falco´s homebages.

  • great shooting

  • @Sambalifter Thanks for watching.

  • excellent as usual !!

  • @SmokinGuns38 Thanks buddy!

  • sweet job

  • @MrLaurence007 Thanks!

  • very nice shot. what shooting method do you use? is it purely instinctive?

  • @oneraindog Thank you. Yes i practise purely instinctive way. I dont use arrow point or anything else for aiming. I just try to put the arrow straight where i look at. It is pure eye-muscle coordination and needs lots of work. When you practise it enough, you start to "feel" the arrow hitting the target just before you release...the arrow (and bow) becomes part of you body.....I dont know better words to explain the idea of instinctive way. It´s challenging and rewarding way of archery i think.

  • @Trophybow1 i am learning instinctive shooting and i love it. but i am very much a beginner. is there anything you can tell me for tips and pointers to help me with practice?

    thank you

  • @oneraindog If you arrow and bow are well tuned, then focus on your anchor point and followthrough and release. Anchor should be allways the same no matter what distance you are shooting. Release also similar and relaxed, it just happends. Try to put every single arrow you shoot into your mind, even if you miss the target. Try to "feel" the arrow and think after every shot how it felt and where did the arrow flye. Then correct the next arrow closer to bullseye---and think how THAT felt...

  • Wow, what a shot!!! Thats amazing!! good to see another video! :)

  • @DriftStallion Hey, thaks for watching. Have nide day!

  • @yugandali Hey thank you veru much!!

  • You seem to be getting the hang of that! Great shooting, love watching the paradox in the slow-motion. Hard on shafts, though!!

  • @bowman321123 Yep but this was already shot to a rock and the point was broken. So it was proper for Robin Hood shot. Normally i try to avoid this kind of shots :)

  • excelent shooting! the footage was spectacular.

  • @bigskytrapper Thanks. I am glad if you liked it.

  • Hello.

You are indiet a tough gye, good shoot.

  • well done , the slow motion is great.you can see the shaft still wiggling in flight . i am shooting three or four times a week .one day a tight group , one day a loose group @ 20 yards or so . i am still working on my form and focus . thanks for the vid.

  • @mdw63 I have tuned my recent arrows with that camera because you can see how the shaft works. Thanks for watching and keep on training. And most imortant thing: have fun!

  • Nice shot and good to see that your camera works ok this time

  • @ollikor You can believe that i was holding my breath at first. Thanks!

  • Great shot! Amazing to see the arrow wobbling on the way. I have yet to shoot a 'Robin Hood'. Course I don't have a 'hole in one' in golf yet either :)

  • @Woodenarrows Thank you sir! It is beatiful and interesting to see how the arrow behaves on air. You will get it my friend! Both!

  • The legendary Trophybow again!. I enjoyed every single frame of this shot.

  • @miketalhoffer Thank you my friend! I am glad you liked it.

  • Hey hey... great shot, you've grown a lot since winter, you need knew pants...

  • @TheKorban ... Summer is time of groving......Thanks friend! Have nice day!

  • I dread doing those shots these days, as they're too expensive for me :)

  • @JamesTCA I would try these either but this arrow was shot straight to the stonne so it was not proper for shooting anymore. Thanks for watching!

  • but wow its one thing gettin a robin hood by accident but aiming to do it on purpose....amazing how your skills have grown!

  • @cardonaman Hey friend! HOw are you!??! Thanks for watching and commenting. I try to practise all the time.... :)

  • @Trophybow1

Howert Hill has shot eight times out of ten taken as

then you can do that too

Excuse my English, I use a translated program

  • @magnidax140 Hello. Thanks for commenting and it is ok, my english is not perfect either :). Oh yes, Mr Hill was something unbelievable.

  • wow. Fantastic archery!

  • @JRFII1 Thanks!!

  • Great shot and well tuned arrows!

  • @Griffonist Thankd buddy. I finally found some shaft which work ok with this stick.

But now those seems to fly ok. Thanks for waching.

  • So ita not a myth after all!

  • @crypter27 :) Thank you for watching!

  • @Trophybow1 no problem

  • really nice to see you get it on film, you are really skilful to do it on order when the cam rolling,

i have self do it a few times of mistake, hheheehh one day it happen two times,

its very much job to make arrows in the bush, so its not fun when its happen,

the real the robin hood shoot, was to put one arrow down in the ground and after that try to hit the shaft off the arrow,

    fredde

  • @hobbexp I can imagine the feeling after you Robin Hooded the self made arrows.

Thanks for watching! I havent seen your latest video yet but i will check it soon!

  • @Trophybow1

yeah it sucks , i remember you recommend me to shoot from a longer distance,

    fredde

  • @hobbexp ;D

  • very very good!!

  • @nonnino70 Thank you very much!

  • another great shot and a nice vid!

  • @Frangohummel Thank you my friend! Greetings!

  • awesome!

  • @dogi4444 Thanks for watching!

  • Really incredible shot!

  • @kaziklu79 ..lucky shot....;)

  • @Trophybow1 :) Somehow i don't believe you it's just luck. I shoot a lot these days but the best i can get is a couple of broken nocks.

  • @kaziklu79 ;) Well, at least it is cheaper that way than to break shafts all the time.

  • @Trophybow1 I make wooden nocks for my alluminium arrows so it's not only cheaper, but free. Still, it takes about half an hour to carve one nock so i prefer not to act like Robin Hood :D By the way do you use Al arrows?

  • Very nice shooting, as usual! Oh, and I love your loafers! ;)

  • @cheroxx hahah...Thanks!
