I have a theory. As the shows target audience ages, I think a lot of them are switching from P/J to P/A I think they now realize what a beautiful romance P/A had and how P/J looked so forced. What the writers did to Andie season three is mind blowing. They had her character do a 180 turn from her normal self. I admit I was P/J at first also, but then I watched all of season 2, and was totally converted to P/A

@TL23455 I don't think PJ was so forced, they had great moments from season 1 that I thought would mean they'd become a couple later. But yeah, the writers threw Andie under a bus for PJ and that was awful. What always made me like Andie was how positive she was and how much she believed in Pacey. Joey believed in Pacey but she was a negative person in general and that brought him down making him feel inferior while she never noticed. That's why PJ couldn't work back then, until both matured.

Andie was squashed b/c she didn't sell. Many fully believe the propaganda @ maturity, love, soul mates- it's bull. It's real simple- fans want their guy to "win". "Your guy" is the one who makes you feel like a part of the show & "winning" is getting the outcome you want. 970% (math says that can't be that's reality) wanted JP b/c they were "their two". So, do you showcase PA or DJ & get $.003 (less than $.01) or PJ & get $9.97 per dollar? If you choose PA or DJ you go broke- it's that simple.

@TL23455 Just for the record: I was a hardcore PA shipper back in S2 and became hardcore PJ shipper in s3 but I always thought if they didn't have Pacey end up with Joey then Andie would be a wonderful choice for his character. I thought he and Tamara were ok for that specific storyline and hated him with Audrey although I liked her alot. I always hated DJ and Dawson in general so I never felt for him, he and Joey were horrible together, fightin for stupid stuff that made them look retaded.

@TL23455 i never really liked P/J ...I think Joey was so caught up in her friendship with Dawson that she never really understood how much she hurt Pacey and made him feel like he would never match up.

Great song choice! This was always a "Pacey/Andie" song to me :) I don't know why the stupid writers of this show destroyed this couple - they were quite possibly the *cutest* couple on TV - EVER!
