I forgot the exact episode of what season i would have to look through it again but i remember when she and dominic went out and he thought they could have something and nikki called the H house and D picked up and he tried to kiss H but H stopped him and let him know she was in love with Nikki and to keep it quiet.

SPOILER ALERT: Mapleleaflady, in Series 2 starting at Episodes 11, Helen invites Dominic to dinner to discuss the lifers program. Nikki hears Di (a new PO) tease Dom about it. During the dinner, Dom tries to kiss Helen but she comes out to him and tells him she's in love with Nikki. Later, Nikki confronts her in the garden and Helen breaks off their relationship. That's when Nikki hurts her hand. It's also why Nikki escapes and we get the wonderful scene at Helen's home in Episode 13.
