I did something like that back in Halo 2. I splattered someone by meleeing AT them with a shotgun on Tower of Power on Ascension, lunging at them, and I missed. The momentum carried me through them, and I got a splatter medal.

This isn't even new. You could do this in the Beta. All your doing is going faster than %300 speed. (Which is what happened in the beta)

That's not the point. It's still the same thing. All your doing is making your character go faster than 300% speed. The speed in the beta went up to 350% which allowed you to kill each other by running into each other. It's pretty much the same thing.
