I think its whack that the American X games doesn't include inline anymore. I miss the Yasutoko Bros. killing all the comp., even when Takeshi was just 14 he skated better than guys twice his age! And I can't forget the beautiful Fabiola Da Silva showing that inline girls kick way more ass than any girl on a skateboard.

I used to skate a good 14 years ago. Today I thought I'd check out Youtube to see how the sport's progressed since back then. Going by the video, the answer is 'not much'. Except jeans are skinnier! A bit dissapointing really :(

As you I skated 10 years ago and wanted to check inline now and you should see what they do in street now ! Bryan Aragon is pretty insane..

Eventough Inlineskating has evolved a lot and has gotten a lot more stylish and technical since the 90s, watching this I still can't help but feel that vertskating looked better back then.

Tom Fry, Rene Hulgreen, Raphael Sandoz, Tim Ward, Scott Crawford, Manual Billiris etc. had cleaner runs, more air time and most importantly more style when doing spins & grabs!

Not trying to diss these skaters as they are amazing atheletes but that's just how I feel....
