When you have a very vivid dream you're less limited so you can fly around. You might be wondering how this is. Well your brain produces Dimethyltriptamine or DMT which is basicly pure imagination and why you dream. If you produce less you dream weaker.

Look up Coleus blumei - a plant that creates vivid dreams.

@Mycoolmusicvideos Doing "Reality Checks" in real life, and make it a habit. Just pinch your arm every once and a while, or check if electronics are workings. In a lucid dream, electronics don't usually work, and you skin is more elastic.

After words, that habit transfers to your dreams.

@Mycoolmusicvideos first, the moment of realizing you are dreaming is key.. 2nd you must focus and not wake up, keep the train of thought going, 3rd try to visualize exactly what you want to dream of and keep it constant but never forget you are dreaming or you will not understand how to change the dream instantly... i first started when i was in 4th grade, 9 years old.. i used to lucid dream the pink power ranger and then have sex with her until i found flying was more fun :)

Ive had two lucid dreams in my life. Both under the same situation, somthing woke me up just enough that I was aware, but not completley conscious. If anyone wants to know what it feels like, you are literaly paralized only being able to open/close your eyes!

If this ever happens to you, quickly think of what you want to dream, close your eyes, and it will start right away. You can also cancel the dream by opening your eyes.

@00herpderp00 Well, if you have managed to get lucid before you get shot, then the smile tends to be easier... if it still seems too real and you haven't realized on some level that you are dreaming... smiling will be more difficult.

I always think of it kind of like a sarcastic or daring smile. Kind of like you see when someone is being over confident.

Let yourself be all that and a bag of chips in your dreams. It works.
