  • There are not enough stars in the universe to rate this video. Great job girls.

  • when i was with these girls they said it was hard preforming this song to families who didnt have thier fathers coming home...

  • these girls are oh so amazing if only yall knew them like i do they are sooo sweet and yes their heart is in the right place but when they preformed i cried they sang at the red river 44 ceremony and for yall that dont know what that is well the 2/149th lost seven soldiers during the deployment in 2009 all those guys were amazing i loved them all and wish they were still here... thank god my dad wasnt on that hellicopter ... he was on the other one.... i miss them....

  • 5 STARS!!!!

  • 20 stars

  • wow, this song and video move my heart. exellent job in every way, god bless you, and god bless america

  • This song was written by a twelve year old little girl!

  • What I wonder is this: How many of the people who are moved by this (no doubt because they have family members deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan) support either war? I see cars all the time with the ribbons on the back saying "support our troops". I could be wrong, but I bet the majority of the owners of those cars SUPPORT the war. Supporting the war is NOT the best way to "support our troops". I sincerely hope that I'm wrong, and that the vast majority of those folks are AGAINST the war.

  • @leisulin my thing is that it makes the news when someone or something major is happening for the soliders but you hardly ever hear of someone doing something for there families

  • @leisulin Doesn't matter if their for the wars or against it. all that matters is that they support the people who are willing to give their lives to what they believe.

  • It is great that this is from the child's point of view. Thank you Gaddis Sisters!

  • I'm not a Military Wife, but a Military Mom, so I do understand the pain of having not one but both of our sons deployed. Praise God they're both home now. The Gaddis Sisters are such a wonderful inspiration who have lived this pain, too, as Military Children. Their song, The Price of Peace, has one line that I battle with every day: "Please God, Show Me How to Be Patient..."

  • That is an amazing song! I loved it!

  • A soldier is someone, who at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America fir ab amount up to, and including, their life. That is an honor, and there are way to many people in this courntry today who seem to no longer understand that fact. Copy and paste this if you are thankful for your American Soldiers.

  • @pumpkindude666 , I completly understand this my dad has been in the army for 21years and all of my life , he's aslo been overseas a number of times including the middleast. It's complicated.simple as that., their life is the only thing that a soldier has to give for their country.

  • I give all my respect for all US soldiers and their families even though i'm not a US citizen. May God bless you!

  • i am the little girl in this video it was awsome hope you love it thxs for your comments

  • 10 stars!!!

  • your song is beautiful and its not the song that counts its the words that get to my heart and wish your family and very much your father the best i would love tosee you in person and ill pray for yah.

  • It's an ok video I guess...Would rather hear something rock and roll. This song didn't really move me at all...

  • awh, the daughter is beautiful :)

  • @unconcealed thank you :)

  • My family and I saw these girls perform this song last night in Palestine, IL. What a moving experience....

  • All I can say is I cried and prayed.

  • My fathers been gone nearly a year. Seeing this video ahould give every army family big or small the strenght to keep going when your family member is away. Having a deployed family member is rough, but it should give you pride that you and your family sacrifced somthing for this great nation. God blees the troops, america, and all of you

  • God Bless the Gaddis sisters! What a beautiful message. My husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan. We have 2 little boys, ages 3yrs. and 1 yr. We cannot wait to welcome our soldier, our hero home, which will be in Feb.

2010. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • God bless all our troops and Happy fourth of july!! thank you for fighting for my freedom and i cant wait to join you so i can earn mine. I leave for basic in August and i cant wait. If you know someone serving stop and take sometime to right them, they need you.

  • Three of my children have all served and been to Iraq. I am proud and grateful for their service. I am glad that there are others who honor their sacrifice....which they are proud to give for our freedom.

  • My father and both of my brothers were deployed....they're coming back sometime in the next 2 months i hope.

this song was more depressing than i expected. but i'm just glad theres people who understand.

  • i can't stop crying. the billionth time i've seen this. and my god. its depressing.

  • my dad left yesterday. im watching this now,..i swear i thought my eyes dried out ebcause i already cried so much...i guess i was wrong

  • The Harris Family loves the Gaddis Sisters. You girls have come a long way. Best Wishes to you and your mom and dad......

  • My U.S. history teacher today showed me this video and it touched me very much soo. It is a terrible thing for our soldiers to be fighting a war that isnt their own... vietnam and iraq and this shows that they always have someone behind them no matter what. God Bless These two young girls and and everyone else who is going through what they are going through.

  • I've heard this before, and it rings true to me.

The only thing harder than being a soldier, is loving one.

It's not just the soldier, but his/her family and friends who also sacrifice much.

God Bless all you soldiers and your families.

  • Good work Girls. Your Daddy will always be your hero. .....even as you age. I was your age when my father went to VietNam. Our troops and their families deserve this kind of respect and understanding. bt

  • This is so beautiful. I love it.

  • I am Air force Rotc, and ill be going into the Air Force. My fiancee is Air Force, and is coming home tomorrow (May 20th) after a deployment of 12 months :(. My father was Marines and has served this country very gratefully and made his family very proud of him. This song brings so much back in memories. It brings so many emotions to me. Thank you to all that are serving, and God Bless your families!

  • Wow. Words can't describe how this video makes me feel. I'll be enlisting any day now and this video makes me feel...I don't know.

  • I know that feeling of in between. I feel it too.

    Thank you for joining.

Thank you for serving our country.

  • Deployments are definitely a hard thing. I'll have to deal with it soon. Proud to be a Citizen-Solder, the Army National Guard.

  • I had the chance to serve with members of the ILL Army National Guard, I had great deal to say about their Bravery, I am currently serving Virginia Army National Guard. 29th Infantry Div. I lost a fellow national guardsmen in Iraq. I feel this video shows the hardships faced by all

  • Incredible. Terrifying. Scairy. Sad. Proud. Happy. Joyful....

    Honorable.

  • This is the most amazing song I have ever heard. My brother is in the military and the lyrics reflect how I feel as well. This was a very nice song, god bless all the soldiers..

  • Deployments are definately tough for everyone. Those bikers are PGR members that do these escorts all too often and we shed tears at every one. The sight of kids and wives or mothers hugging and kissing the loved one causes us to cry with the family. Many of us have had to say goodbye to our families and know what it's like. No matter what war, the deployed go to defend our Freedom.

God Bless them and God Bless this wonderful country.

May He also Bless the protestors that have that right

  • This is very well done. Thank you Gaddis Girls. Your dad must be VERY proud of you too.

  • Amazing song. It really shows how emotional deployments are and how tough they can be. God Bless you and your family CW!

  • wow-my son is in Iraq right now-what a heartwrenching video....

  • God bless him, and your family.
