We see another one of Optimus Primal's cryptic visions here. This time the vision had Optimus swinging around in an organic world, seeing a bunch of Sparks flying around, a bunch of vines catch Optimus, then the organic becomes fully engulfed by Megatron's technology.
When trying to calm Optimus down, Cheetor's feet clip into the floor.
Again, Thrust is miscoloured as one of the Cycle Drones when he first enters the battlefield.
@MrMandude365 I can't speak for others, but for me there are many scenes here which seem almost explicitly designed for a comic book. 2:23 here is perfect for a word balloon in the upper left. There was also that scene where Ratrap defends Megatron from the maximals - the black silhouettes on red background. This feels more stylized than other cartoons, even beast wars or Reboot.
@MrMandude365 It feels like this was originally a printed comic book that scenes just came alive rather than something originally intended to be a moving picture. Also, the more thoughtful pace of the show feels different. The anime style movement transitions such as at 5:49 and the general shot framing reinforce this for me.
@JakeConhale Yeah I get what you are saying but I just don't see the differance between an cartoon and a "comic book in motion" I mean stories are stories. I have watched a lot of cartoons that could have been the same as comics and vise versa.
@MrMandude365 It's a matter of origins. This feels like it was a converted book rather than something inherently designed for 3d motion. Stories are stories, true, but it's a matter of execution. This is just the first thing I've seen where I got that impression on.
