I don't mean to be a jackass but I'm in the Army Cadets and that really was a poor parade due to the Army Cadets. There isn't any discipline with the cadets. Half them weren't even looking straight ahead they were doing 'Eyes right' etc.

he was fumming!! lol.but jokess a side, officers in the county thought it would be a good idea to let BTC cadets join in the march and BTC make the majority of the cadets up, hence why we we're all out of step and looked like complete and utter SHITE!!
and we actually had a comp to decide who would march at the front so the best company at the start to the worse at the end so the quality of marchin did get bad at the end as i can c, but new cadets were there so they did not all no how to march but it would have been unfair to say they couldnt go
we were only outta step wen the dumb ass old men marchin us got it right as u have to march in time wid the guy in front so u dnt stand on ppl, my platoon marched in the first 35 sec of the clip and they were in step. its not an easy thing to do so lay off.
army cadets cannot march or do drill, this is no reflection on the cadets themselves, but on the way they are instructed! If the people teaching cadets got it right, then there wouldn't be a problem.

well im proud of us - some of those cadets had never done anything of the sort before and therefore did a brilliant job! perfection requires time and experience therefore a parade of the sort is the first stepping stone.

I am an AI in Hants & IOW ACF and I have also served in the 'grown ups army'. Negative comments are both unwelcome and unappreciated. These kids gave up their entire Saturday to practice and participate in this parade so they should be applauded for their efforts. I was proud to march alongside them. If Corsomail1 think they can make a difference and train/teach the cadets to 'do it properly' then perhaps they can prove it by becoming an Adult Instructor in the ACF!

Why not help us "at least do it well" 4 hours a week can you spare it?

@marlintcf aryt mate, i have the utmost respect for the cadets, if it was up to me, it should be part of the school national curriculam, however i in my university course, there are plenty of girls n lads who were in the cadets n gives them an excuse to act like squaddies, use the same terminology n play wannabe soldiers, some even wear hoodies with regiments on them. personally i find this very offensive, but never the less these are a small percentage, god bless the cadets.
I'm a AI in Hants and IOW ACF and i was on marshall duty and saw all the cadets march by. yes some were out of steps but they give up 4 hours a week doing something they love. i am proud to see them making an effort and giving it ago. maybe instead of slating those kids the youngest kid was around 12 so maybe pay them some respect and a thanks for giving it ago i'm proud of them!
