  • my top threee are...

    1. jitterbug

    2. hula popper

    3. any frog basically

  • Check out Lunker Punkers for big fish.

  • Zera spook?

  • I OBJECT........... The original floating rapalas belong in there for sure. There has been more of these sold than any other lure.

  • #8 the heddon torpedo is the best for me I cought 10 in less than an hour in the school pond

  • what song is this?!

  • no buzzbaits thats sad

  • Another good one would be the buzz bait

  • you r wrong of 8 of the 10

  • Best top water is a spook or a jitterbug

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa lucky craft gunfish and sammy are a bajillion times better you just havent tried em.

  • What about the jitter bug

  • @peaceouthomie911 that was something i should of put in this vid but i hadent ever got the chance to try it. It would be #4

  • i will definetly try those out ive heard of a top water lure called rapala skitter prop have you used them before if so please do tell me if you have been successful with catching bass thanks!

  • im fishing for pike and both largemouth and smallmouth bass in the fort peck lake of mt what top water lures would you reccomend :D

  • @milorknight i am not that familiar with pike fishing but i know for bass that the hula popper, the scum frog are two good ones but hands down my two favorites are the lucky craft sammy or the lucky craft gunfish. For those two you will need to fish them using the "walk the dog" technique. I hope this helped if have anymore questions please ask.

  • @milorknight Hula poppers work best for Northerns, cheers

  • @milorknight Rattlin Zara Spook. In the color Z Shad. Smallies and largemouth eat em up. Pike devour em, and muskie like them in 4 inch!!! get 4 inch. Smallest smallmouth I caught on one was 1 1/2 pounds. So, catches nice smallies. 15 pound musky, 3 pound pike, 3 pound largemouth.

  • @milorknight try the river 2 sea whopper plopper

  • The past couple days I've been lucky with the yellow scum frog. Nice line up though

  • I catch most of my bass on a hula-popper.

  • @CANDLEWIT same with me

  • My two favorites didn't make it-darn!!

  • @22ratshot what would those be?

  • @RChanger I like a buzz bait and a Strike king frog.

  • @RChanger what happened to the Jitterbug?

  • dude where the hell are the zara spooks, the broke back rapalas, and the buzzbaits?

  • What about the origenal rapala, zara spook or a fluke? I mean you've got 3 tipes of soft and all are frogs. Maybe a good willow leave spinnerbait?Berkley 10" power bait(tequila sunrise) in post spawn is like tnt! Like your top 3!

  • do you think some of these will work in NE?

  • @lacrossefootballman if you tell me what kind of area you will be fishing in i could tell you

  • @RChanger I fish mostly in Crystal Lake, Eastmen and Stoker Pond

  • @lacrossefootballman Yes most of these will work but soon I will be making an updated video on the same topic because I have found a lot better lures than the ones in this video

  • 6 and 7 are called popers

  • were is the zara spook

  • wow dude? i haven't used the frogs at all but i agree with you ALL the way when it comes to gunfish and sammy. those are the 2 best topwaters i own!! nice list, man =).

  • topwater swimbaits are really effective also...try em out, their action is ridiculous.

  • don't like any of em where the whate and yellow buzz bait or black and silver rapala

  • dont like none of em but the first popper was pretty cool

  • and horney toads are better then ribbits

  • ahh i dont know about that i think that ribbits have a lot more of a life like movement in them

  • @bassallyear yeah ribbits are terrible hory toads are way better

  • heddon torpedos are such a shitty lure its like a beginner topwater lure to catch you like 1 pound bass

  • the best in my is is the rapala floating minnow the tear them up

  • naaaa terrible wheres the heddon crazy crawler and the hula popper and the classic jitterbug/locoust!!!!!!

  • some one who finally agrees with me! jitterbugs are the original lure and there the best!!
