@verbusen Yeah, this song is a huge favorite of mine as well -- I just love the dark imagery embedded in the lyrics, and the music side of it is exceedingly haunting. Thanks for watching!
@BiohazardZombi Yeah, it's certainly a huge favorite of mine. So glad that you enjoyed hearing it again. I was amazed that nobody else had posted the song on YT prior to this.
This was one of my favorite tracks from Goth Box too. I have been waiting so long for this song to be uploaded--THANK YOU!!!! And thanks for introducing me to Barbara Steele. She DOES rock!
Thanks for so much for the really nice comment. Glad you enjoyed the clip so much. Yes, "Resurrection Mary" was almost worth the price of "Goth Box" by itself, GREAT song!!! And it just naturally seemed to go with this macabre sequence from Mario Bava's horror masterpiece, "Black Sunday". 'Tis the season, with Halloween right around the corner. Check out this & other Barbara Steele EuroHorror classics if you get a chance -- many of them are uploaded here on YT. Best wishes.
Thanks, Aqua. One thing is for sure: if it's creepy, then I'll likely dig it. And I love the old gothic horror flicks, the more obscure they are, the better. Plus, the song is a long-standing favorite of mine from the legendary "Goth Box" 4-CD music anthology. It's very kind of you to give my spooky vids a look.
Yes, I always liked horror films too actually. I love the more obscure ones as well, and the classics. Most of the newer ones suck in my honest opinion, they just don't have any character. Its just slash and cut type of stuff, like the endless Saw franchise, enough is enough already! But yeah, the music is certainly Goth sounding and it is fitting for this scenery.
that was cool, love this song, thanks.
