good stuff, but lay off them scratching sounds! No real musician should ever use those except as a parody. They're basically included to sell more to the innocent.
hahah are theyyyy>? Real scratching, yes. But that imported, scratching-in-a-box, automatic "replica" of scratching— well only someone who really doesn't understand scratching and dj tricks would think it's legit. you obviously haven't touched a turntable b4, have ya? hhaha.
btw, his drumming is awesome, but that scratch sound doesn't help.
funny, again. There are only electronic scratch sounds in the vid. No real scratching, so yes, "Them scratch sounds have gots to go!"
Using an automatic Pioneer turntable in your hifi doesn't count. (u can't scratch on that or you'd know the difference)
And, the exception is, like I said, using them as a parody. In other words, as with anything, you can break the rules only if you KNOW the rules. You obviously don't. It's ok if u don't understand scratching. To each their own.
Ofcourse you have to check it out yourself. Only thing I can say, although i haven't tested it, is that the 10 is likely to have some improved features and that might include quality of samples.
Anyway considering the hpd 15: it contains 80 programmable patches consisting of 18 samples. The samples can be chosen from a bank of 600 instruments that are each fully tweakable (pitch, volume, velocity, fx etc.)
Depends on yourself 100%. Never ask 'how long does it take to play like that', someone may take 2 months, some 3 years. just START doing it already and you will be able to play as good as this =]
I'm bad with sticks so when I get a handsonic, this is how I'd be playing a "kit." If planning on using that function more, get a decent kick so it don't slide all over, its messing up your rhythm. Good job though!
Timing is a concept.

Yeah he sucks your will to try to play as well. Put yourself up on here and let's see how much better you are :)
Otherwise, go back to 8th grade and let the adults enjoy listening to some great drumming.

You're absolutely right.
I first experimented with a contact mike as a kick trigger, then I made this pedal.
Recently I've made a kick trigger using a bassdrum pedal and a contact mike, which is far more accurate and comfortable and ...
