In Rotterdam, they had a leen ladder firetruck from the truck service. The siren of the leen ladder firetruck was a wail and yelp. People in Rotterdam closed them windows and doors. The people thought that there was a big calamity, but that are the sirens from the leen laddertruck :P.
mabey but in the netherlands everybody knows this sound from the fire department and the police en ambulance have different sound thad the fire department and if we gonna cheance it that wil be confusing people than the dont know what it is and if it a rescue vicicle

And there has also been a very good test that tested different fire apparatus sirens! and the martin horn turned out to be less good then all the others cause the instetuit that made the test found out that its better to run different siren at once like going with a yelp or a wail and the suplying with an air horn! Its supposed to move traffic better! Or a Q on your trucks would really help!
@ FederalQsiren: (and in case the reply-function of youtube fucks up as usual, this is a reply to a comment on page 2) I suggest that you look at more video's from Kazerne Willem: You will see that hearing the siren and the way traffic moves out of the way is good, there's no need for another siren.

No, the emergency wasn't in Amsterdam, but in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam. So the engines from Amstelveen had to respond, not from Amsterdam. This engines could go back to their station.

Als je 3 verschillende lokaties krijgt..... dan gaat het niet zo snel he. De mobilofoon kwaliteit is gewoon goed, maak je daar maar geen zorgen over.

And there has also been a very good test that tested different fire apparatus sirens! and the martin horn turned out to be less good then all the others cause the instetuit that made the test found out that its better to run different siren at once like going with a yelp or a wail and the suplying with an air horn! Its supposed to move traffic better! Or a Q on your trucks would really help!
