It is funny...when people try and figure out where Fairview is located. Actually Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young) grew up outside of Portland Oregon. There is a typical suburb called "Fairview" about a few minutes outside the city. Instead of the Eagle State...Oregon is the Beaver State. We are about an hour from the Coast and less than an hour from the mountains. Fairview Oregon....is a nice place to live indeed.

Tom is always so selfish..
He never think about was Lynette has to going through... In every single season, he's totaly selfish. First Time this his Job, than he wants to stay at home - Lynette goes work - after that, Lynette is happily with her new occupation, he came's with the idea of an Restaurant and Lynette does it... Lynette has to jump then he says jump. I dont like him.

actually tom is a very realistic character. yeah, he went through a bit of a selfish phase with the restaurant and stuff but he will ALWAYS put his kids first. i love that guy, and hope my boyfriend will turn out to be a tom...

I read an Interview with Dana Delany ( Katherine ) that she is contractually signed to the show until at least 2011, so we have at least 3 more seasons. Season 5 starts in America in the Autum and season 4 is back on british tv in the autum.
