  • Oh, the giggle. It's always the giggle that gets me.

  • Yeah, it's such a good revelation, let's put it in the title so that everyone can get spoiled =_=

  • @mikalichou Well it;s been out a long time. It's like people not being able to talk about the ending to sixth sense.

  • @mikalichou

If you care, you know already.

  • @TheSuperQuail If I'm on this page, I would have to be blind not to know. But I got it spoiled just before starting to watch two weeks ago, and it sucked for the whole first half of the season.

  • The TARDIS translation matrix translates everything into English for the Doctor's companions - does it translate everything into Gallifreyan for the Doctor? Or does he just speak anything anyway?

  • @Gubbywubby I think everything he writes or says is gallifrayen just everyone around him its translated into something they can understand. But he's a 1000 years old he must've learned a few :3

  • @MrHowdareyou No, I think he speaks every language. Remember him talking to the Judoon when he was Ten? Gallifreyians have brain capacity well beyond that of humans *anyway* and combine that with a time vortex-influenced longer life, and, well...

  • @MrHowdareyou and @Gubbywubby; I think the Doctor speaks...pretty much everything. The reason the TARDIS doesn't translate Gallifreyan is because she doesn't need to--it's her native language as well as the Doctor's. And...it'd be pretty hard to translate a made up language :3

  • wwooowwww could you have a bigger spoiler in the TITLE?!

  • I Knew it! hahaha could not be different! Fantastic!

that wonderful story! I love this episode!

  • Oh that is awkward. This strange woman who knows so much and seems so old and strong and mysterious... and she's your daughter... and you didn't know... and she's older than you... by quite a bit... HA!

  • It annoys me how she keeps saying 'hello sweetie' and 'my love'

  • Ok who else bets Rory passed out 2 seconds after that?

  • Oh my Gosh i am so happy river is amazing the doctor is amazing the speach river said was so beautiful and magical and river is awesome but its really sad cause amy lost her baby who is river but ... :'( ... :D

  • me confused...

  • River:You have to stay calm.

    Amy:*Picks up a gun*

  • Well, that's awkward.

  • River doesn't resemble her mum, though.

  • @clois95 Regeneration!

  • @clois95 She regenerates just the like the doctor so her appearance will probably change during the show

  • @Ndesire She can't regenerate anymore; she gave up all her regenerations to save the Doctor in Let's Kill Hitler, remember? This is her third (and last) body.

  • LOL at Rory's reaction at 5:22 ;)

  • River: its me.. i'm your daughter

Amy: then that means...... DOCTOR....HOW DARE YOU SONIC MY DAUGHTER!!

    Rory: umm he's gone

  • Matt Smith is sexy when he is angry. Lol I think I like it

  • TOTAL HP AND DW FAN!!! Have been since Eccleston... Is that how you spell it?

  • @LilyAmeliaPond Its actually Dr Who But DW Works too

  • This is the best moment in the episode

  • I know, I was just mocking the mirror imaging :D

  • Every river starts at a pond :o)

  • All this in FEAR OF YOU! Evil River Song!

  • @Poomba1989b River Song... :D

  • Grumpy moment here, but one hopes now that Moffat has gotten this silliness out of his system, he can let the Doctor be the Doctor now. All this romance pandering to a pre-teen crowd raised on sparkling vampires.....

  • @crabbieappleton Better than the sparkling vampire BS with Ten/Rose.

  • for some reason or other, i love when he gets mad at her :)

  • Poomba1989b she's Amy's daughter and the Dr's wife! :)

  • Anyone know the song in the background at 5:08? PLEASE TELL ME!

  • @ToumaFanGurl Doctor Who Series 6 Disc 1 Track 31 - Melody Pond

  • @johnTRAN93 thank you very much!

  • If she's seen his cot...either she remembers it from when she was a baby...or she and the Doctor have/will have children

  • amazingness from her mother awesomeness from her father and sexyness from well... sexy herself

  • @TheInspectorwho sexy herself makes the doctors wife oh i love it

  • the doctor: but we *makes awkward kissy faces*.

river: *like tlkin 2 a baby* yeeeees.

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that moment!

  • I love the giggle :)

  • I love how the Doctor doesn't find it weird at all. To him, it's just like...a delightful surprise.

  • and he preens himself.... river like yeah and rory+amy are likeWHAT IS GOINON!

  • When I saw this for the first time when it aired my mom and I were like screaming and jumping out of our seats and we yelled " WHAT DO YOU MEAN TO BE CONTINUED?! YOU DONT END AN EPISODE LIKE THAT!" Stevan Moffat has me in like this little cult thing I swear

  • that is just....disturbing on so many levels.....i can imagine the awkward conversations between amy and river now..

  • 0:55 david tennant rage! moment.

  • This ending blew me away. Really didn't see this one coming

  • this is the only episode where river dosen't say Hello sweetie

  • this is the possibly the best acting i have seen in doctor who this far..

  • LOVE the Doctor's Giggle!!!!!!!!!

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again, I adore the smile River gives to him at 2:59 and then how they say hello to each other.

  • The awkward moment where your daughter is old enough to be your mom.

  • @mapdark They're roughly the same age, since they went to school together, then she [River] travelled around, but yeah, I get what you mean. Ah, The Moff and his genius brain. :)

  • @mapdark that awkward moment when your mother in law tries to sleep with you.

  • River gives him a proper telling off as if he was a 2 year old

  • "well the hell were you today" the way he says that is so like the way you talk to your patner like "and where the hell have you been?!!"

  • the Doctor has the most adorable giggle!!

  • How shit was that for a big reveal?

  • i love how he keeps looking over at Amy and going "ohhhhhhhh"

  • @amirizar2003 TGC? i think there is still enough siliness to be getting on with. series 6 is steadily going up in my books im not sure if it will surpass series 4 yet tho we'll have to wait and see. I like the complex story arch over the last 2 seasons but i think it would've been a bad move to have started off new who with it. we had good but less complicated arch for 4 years, it sorta set the groundwork. there were of course depressing/heavy episodes b4 series 5 let us not forget

  • @amirizar2003 we all have to face 'touch' decisions in our lives like who do we touch, when is it ok t touch and where do we touch :o

but yeah i wanna see some dark Docotr in 11 as well and yeah i think it was brilliant to have a Docotr more alien and less human after the decidedly human 10. we got a great moment this week whent he Doctor sort aadmited he was just a "mad man in a box". but omg tho did you see the God Complex its like they made it JUST for our little back and forth it was 10/10

  • @amirizar2003 i know right thats why i love the show. I thin Donna might've left the TARDIS then and there had they not saved that family. the Doctor generally shwoed a bit less emotion (it wasn't like he was emotionless or anything he got happy, sad, mad etc alot) in the ollder series but you know that was just those Doctors and also it was just the style of the older show. Also ppl throw 'emo' around too easily usually when it doesn't apply. ANY crying suddenly = emo even when someone has died

  • @amirizar2003 me too. EOT was Doctor at arguably his most human (Ten was markebly more human than the other incarnations) so you might say it was a fufillment of what the post-time war Doctor had been striving for, Moffat himself said the Doctor is like a God trying to be human. EOT wasn't 'emo' like ppl have foolishly labelled it, i mean who WANTS to die, it was just honest frankly. TWOM also made excellent use of the FIres of Pompeii. his fall cud also b his 'death' in EOT

  • @amirizar2003 made even sadder byt he fact he admired/loved Adelaide. its was right that that story come at the end of Ten's run it was the pride before the fall and helped propell us into his final story. also it really underlines a major theme running thru the specials, that the Docotr really needs companions and to an extent is defined by them. its not by chance that Jackson Lake got himself a companion bcos thats an important part of the what makes the Doctor who he is...

  • @227060 equally it isn't by chance that the Planet of the Dead was a fun romp for the Doctor and his temporary companion Lady Christina and it is IMMEDIATLY followed up by a companionless story in which everything goes very very wrong and probably wouldn't have if the Doctor had had a companion. of course the whole thing is rounded off in EoT when the Doctor does the heroic thing that defines him and sacrifices himself for his companion and of course his 'reward' is seeing all of his companions

  • Critics may think this episode was hastened and clustered, but I simply LOVED it. The wackiness, revelations and sense of scale represent what Doctor Who is all about it. That... and bowties are cool!

  • @amirizar2003 oh yeah Eleven here is kinda just his normal self (which is arguably worse since he isn't aware of the fact that he is exerting too much power) and then he is in outright denials of what he is guilty of. Ten in TWOM was downright frightening in that ep. it was scary that he became so powerful and was fully aware of it, if Adelaide hadn't killed herself who knows what he would've done. made sure Rose didn't get rapped. prevented Donna losing her memories. stopped the Time War? scary

  • this ep kinda has aspects of Waters of Mars in that you see the Docotr acting like a God beofore it all goes wrong. the main difference is that the pride and fall in question are on different scales. goes to show that despite how viewrs, writers and even other characetrs MIGHT perceive the Doctor as a God, he really isn't one and he should never allow himself to belive in that perception, or else bad stuff happens and he might become a monster greater than those he combats

  • 2:09 sorry can i just say i saw an absolutly amazing forum post today about that 1 shot where the Doctor is standing in front of the TARDIS while River is giving him a talking to. anyway the post sort of pointed out that in the light of the Docotr's Wife its kinda like everyone is against him but the TARDIS, you know his wife, is the only one backing him up

  • BEST SCENE EVER!!!!

    (even backwards)

  • where can i watch series 6 in america?? I don't have the BBC America channel.

  • @Goldlucky13

Frostwire is your friend. I can't even watch them on BBC America with the commercials.

  • @Glitch969 frostwire??

  • If we follow the series she regenerated only 2 times (if my count is good). Once as a little girl into that blackhaired girl (no proof) and after that (when Hitler shoots her) she became River we know now . SPOILER: she cannot regenerate anymore because she used all her left lives to save the doctor's life from a poison she used on him.

  • You might want to change the name of the video... Just for people who haven't seen "A Good Man Goes to War" yet. Sorry to be a spoilsport! Thanks for uploading this.

  • =O THIS SCENE BLOWS ME AWAY EVERY TIME

  • this scene is backwards.

  • @CATRYNA49 they make it backwards so that it technically doesn't break copyrights

  • Loving the Doctor's giggly awkward moment....

  • Un suprised she didnt Faint Or hve a Hug Destarte Lol

  • It's odd watching this because... awks she's like older than them...

  • @SnowFloProductions Wibbly wobbly timey wimey!

  • I'd be so pissed if i didnt see the episode and saw the title of this video.

Like my whole week would have been anger.

  • For a second there I thought she was going to say she's the Doctor's mother. eewww.

  • @tron81 I would stop watching Doctor Who if she was, that would of been disgusting haha.

  • I reallreallyreally want Amy&Rory to raise Melody. Its sort of my dream.

  • Could you HAVE a bigger spoiler in your title?!

  • @daddy7860 What about Doctor Who, River Song reveals she is Amy and Rory's daughter right after her past self is kidnapped and brainwashed to kill the doctor because he went a bit power mad.

  • @daddy7860 It could, possibly, if it were grammatically correct.

  • @daddy7860 snape killed Dumbledore?

  • @FpsAmy Dumbledore killed Dumbledore!

  • god, i love the doctor! when he realizes wo she is, and he gets all giggly and then is like "but you and me....*kissy face*" xD

  • @96chocoholic He's so adorably awkward<3

  • @lolkappfakyu2 Look, you have a problem with River, that's all fine and good, but throwing around the word nigger because of a show is idiotic. It also shows your lack of respect for black people. It's just sad.

  • Is it just me or is season 6 of Dr Who maybe the best television the world has ever seen?

  • @plightman no torchwood right now is but doctor who is an EXTREMELY CLOSE 2nd

  • @bloodboy235 Doctor Who is way better then Torchwood.

  • @MiloTheUberLegend yea if ur 0-12 if ur older than that go watch torchwood thats 15- end of your life i dont mind dr who buts its for children

  • @bloodboy235 Yeah because that's correct.

My brother and his friends are nearly 20, and they agree Doctor Who is better then Torchwood.

Just because it's less serious, and simpler than Torchwood doesn't make it comepletely for Children.

  • @MiloTheUberLegend i dont mind mind people over 12 watching dr who but torchwood is more adult, more realistic, more mature, more believeable

  • @plightman completley agree!

  • @plightman Season 6..? You mean the space-pirates episode? or the one with the voldemorts.. erm, i mean gangers.. yeah right... best television i have ever seen in my life. (: $

  • What is that awesome piece playing in the background when the doctor hops into the tardis?

  • Ok just another theory of mine but I agree with Saffee1990. Okay, what if River Song is the new Dr. What if she is for all intents and purposes a Timelord, and when this Dr dies totally, she takes up the mantel of the Doctor? just an idea.

  • @ItsCuzImDED sorry but that doesnt happen. did you watch season four?? the esp. when river first time is showen. she dies at the end.

  • @jade2nightwing no the doctor saved her remember? so she never died she just got transported to the dream thingamajig.

  • who noticed that this video is mirrored?

  • @katie12x she can regenerate, she can change her looks

  • i cant wait until th enew series comes out

  • 3 days to go!!!!!!!

  • Steven Moffat = MIND FUCK KING!!!!!

  • @Geetinator I'd say he takes second place after Chris Nolan

  • @PsychoSaneGames Well yes...Inception for one....But in TV, Moffat is King! :D

  • HOLY FUCK :D

  • anyone else thinking something along the lines of "Shit, meet fan."

  • So why didn't River regenerate in the library?

I assume the reason why she's in jail is because for some reason she has to kill Rory (The best man I've ever known)

  • @mjptrapster Becuase she said when the doctor told her to switch places, that he wouldnt be able to regenerate becuase the death would be too quick

  • @mjptrapster in last night's episode it's explained that River gave up the rest of her regenerations to save the Doctor (timelord's only get a certain amount)

  • 3:07 is best scene XD

  • the look on matts face when we looks up from the crib and realises who river is, omg perfect :D haha

  • I kind of guessed she was Amy and Rory's daughter.(:

  • @DontBreakPromises Really, well here is one you didn't forsee,I imagine. I guessed that you guessed who she was before you even guessed it.

  • wait... did they plan this out from season 4?

  • @THETRUEVOICEOFROCK moffat did, sneaky bastard

  • where did she get her afro from then? :L

  • @katie12x

Because she has timelord DNA she can regenerate, at some point in time Melody/River died and regenerated into a new body.

  • Only one word....BRILLIANT!!!

  • I knew who she was the from the beginning of season 6. The moment Amy said she was pregnant.

  • @1metesis Me too

  • Spoilers.

  • My brother told me and ruined it for me, the bastard

  • @11CORTY11 HA unlucky

  • The Rassilon Imprimatur is the thing in Time Lord DNA that lets them regenerate and also be able to interact with the Time Vortex. It's what allows them to travel in TARDISes, etc. Rassilon, I think, put this into Gallifreyian people to begin with, but apparently it can be implanted in human DNA as well and entirely by accident. Remember, all thru the new series people have said to the Doctor, "why do you look human" and he always goes "why do you look Time Lord"... well there you go.

  • omg i was in shock wen i was told that River Song is Amy and Rory's daughter

  • Oh man, this is why Matt Smith is great, that look on the Doctors face as he giggled at River Song before leaving was one of just pure happyness. compare that to how pissed he was earlier and it just makes you heart go "awwww"

  • Bleh, they are going to kill poor Rory.

  • it's kind of scary when the doctor unleashes his anger... 0.0

  • i love this this one

  • I LOVE his little laugh he does after going 'hello' and the talk about the smoochy smoochy bit always makes me giggle. ='')

  • Did the Doctor hav the baby with Amy? Im confused. someone explain please?!

  • @BeatlesRockForever1

Rory and Amy have a baby

  • @torishannan ok thanks

  • @BeatlesRockForever1 Amy and Rory's baby, she was conceived in the TARDIS, all the residual time energy is what made her the 'weapon' she will be used as.

  • I adore her smile at 2:59

  • 3:05 - 3:50 is one of the funniest scenes in all of doctor who :)

  • @regenerationstorm

I like the way u think!!! My friend/neighbor also believes somthig along those lines cuz nothin in dr. Who is ever as simple as it sounds or looks

  • What if The Doctor that is killed on the beach is the Flesh Doctor [Exact same Bow Tie btw] and the astronaught is the REAL Doctor who saves Amy and Rory and River from it as it is a setup by Madam Kovirian [Eyepatch Lady] - Then it turns out River will eventually kill the real eleventh Doctor whenever Matt Smith decides to leave Doctor Who??

  • would of been much better if it wasn't back to front :L

  • "Hello"

  • i'd still like to know what it says in gallifreyan

  • @saffie1990

I think it's the Doctors real name.

  • @saffie1990 same it cant say "Melody's Crib" haha

  • @saffie1990

yea, me too... i bet it has the names of every child that ever laid in the cot... the Doctor, his kids, and River

  • @saffie1990 Likely it says the Doctor's true name.

  • Guys. Rory not going to die. He coming back for season 7

  • haha i think Doctor loves river songe

  • Does anyone think that this doctor will go back to the 10th doctor Library episode and get River Song out of the system?

  • @TheFoemp I hope so it would make her parents happy or maybe is a flesh river that dies

  • @TheFoemp I would like that, it would a twist, her not
