The hackers (or crooks) wont access your computer because u already have a firewall. So u dont have to worry. :)

The problem is that the logging doesn't seem to work most of the time for this app. I keep getting a "No Fix" badge instead of the number of logged access points.

It was a bummer WiFiFoFum got kicked from the App Store but its now available for Android :)

@VendetaMilen This app is not a browser. What it does do is allow you to find wireless access points around you and let you know if they are encrypted or not. Hope this helps.

They dropped wifi apps from the app store. It's on cydia though if you jailbreak.

TrueCrypt is encryption to protect files on your PC. Carefully read its instructions. When it creates the key pair you are suppose to move your mouse around. The more you move it the harder it would be to break the key.

I'm not sure what the thresholds are for RSSI. When I am next to my router I get a -28 and when I'm down stairs I get -79. In both cases I go from a perfect signal to 60%.

The lower the RSSI the closer you are. At -80 you start to degrade
