Just because faster isn't always better doesn't mean slower is. Hammet wins. Both guitarist have progressed over the years, especially Hetfield, but Hammet will always be the better lead player.

He hasn't evolved as a player at all over the years, while Hetfield has only been getting better and better as a lead guitarist (and already was great at rhythm).

Not saying Metallica best Megadeth worst, but IMO Metallica is way better. They maybe not as skilled in guitar as Megadeth, but dont judge a band on the speed and technique only

Nice video! but the master of puppets solo is always played by kirk and in that segment it was, you can see by the notes that hetfield was using atm, that solo is composed of acute notes, and there he was playing the rythm line (medium notes), take care m8 and do more of this stuff ^^
