Eric Carr was the best drummer in KISS ever.

Peter was a little malplaced in KISS as he is much older and have completely different background in jazzdrumming.

And he could be a sloppy addicted person.

Carr was also a better singer than Criss.

But Peter had a personality, that was never the case with Carr, he was more of a "teamplayer".

Everyone loved Eric Carr but Peter was the original.

Eric Carr is sort of the man behind the KISS sound I grew up with and got to like the most. In my opinion the best album is Creatures Of The Night. But...I'm sorry, Eric Singer wins this by a light year. Eric Carr is still the man though!

Peter Criss all the way,the original is better 90% of the time,Eric Carr was probably the better overall "rock" drummer and I've heard Eric Singer do better "Criss songs" vocally better than this version,but gotta go with the original Cat.

Eric Carr was the greatest drummer KISS ever had hands down, also he's one of the top 5 greatest drummers of all time overall. However, you can't beat the youthful energy of the '76 performance, it's pure power. Anything else KISS has done since pales in comparison. Singer, poor guy entered the band under tough circumstances both times (replacing Eric Carr upon his death, and later putting on the makeup replacing the legend that is Peter Criss)

Eric Carr is a better singer than Peter overall, but Peter's voice is more suited to this, along with all the other early Kiss songs he sang on. Eric Singer has a similarly raspy voice to Peter (more or less) so he captures it a bit better

Sorry , but this recording does not do the real artist justice , I have seen all 3 of them Live and am now 50 years old , Criss by far was a better drummer and could write and sing better than anyone in the group !!! The original members are always the best for 1 reason , they were in it to do what noone else had done , their own style !!! They all had their own demons to deal with and sad to say 2 members fell off the grid , not to say the replacements are not talented , imitations
