Can anyone tell me how the touch screen reacts to touch? Is it like the iPhone and HTC phones, or like the old Samsungs such as Solstice, Eternity, etc, where you have to apply a lotta pressure? I need to know for when I upgrade, I may get this, only depending on how it responds.

To change the icons in the bottom dock/tray thing:

1. Go into Applications

2. Hit the menu button (the far left button on the bottom)

3. Select "Customizable Grid"

4. Hit the menu button again

5. Select "Edit"

6. From here, you can drag icons in and out.

You cannot remove the Home icon from the tray, it's the only permanent one.

@CollectionGamesLA as long as you have an ATT prepaid sim it should work. I have an htc aria that I bought off of amazon I had to go to an ATT store to get a prepaid sim activated for it but it works.

@sizzlesiswhatiget yeah I would probably take the phone to a store and tell them you want to get it activated, they might not be happy you have your own phone but they will do it. Some people buy a cheap go phone and get the sim off of that but if you do that I wouldn't activate the sim inside the gophone it came with. Mine ended up becomming locked to the gophone hince the trip to an ATT store.

They said it won't work on 3g phones the lady at the store said it usually doesn't but I know there is a site you can go to on your phone to let data work on it (saw a youtube video on it once don't remember though but I think they used an iphone in it) but honestly the prepaid data plans suck anyways so I just save the money and use wifi since I'm always in range of a wifi signal.

If you want to switch out email and web go to SETTINGS then go to USER DEFINED and then you can switch them out..... hopefully? i have at&t and that works for me.

(Not sure if answered already but) In response to app customization... It IS possible to change the 4 bottom stationary apps. In applications, change to "Customizable View" then choose (menu key) "Edit". All the app borders turn white and can be moved around. Also, manually installed apps can be deleted pressing the - sign. When done, Save. You can then view alphabetical again if you choose. It reminds me of the iPhone wiggle.

@AaliciaNicoleDavia sg2 is quicker smaller and newer... and more likely to get updates..... the infuse 4g is nice if you like the screen size...i chose the infuse 4g because of the screen size..... but honestly you can find a infuse on craigslist for like 200 without contract and you can get the sg2 for cheaper than 200 at some places (via Amazon wireless.. etc)... please pm me if you would like to know

Its basiclly Sameeee in my opinion.. But the infuse is Bigger and wider screen and camara ima go with galaxy is better but infuse is GOOD TOO its like if galaxy 2 camara rate was 4/4 than infuse is like 3 1/2 /4 if u know what i mean :P But if your like a small person since the infuse is like really big id go with galaxy. And everything else is much like the galaxy C: OH and the angryv bird is fun C:

I guess you can' t to the battery on this phone and it has no SD card??? Reviews need to include, 1. Basic stats, i.e. screen size, memory, battery life, camera res etc. 2. What comes in the box. 3. quality of cam shot and features. 4. How do you change battery and SD card. DO NOT WASTE TIME BY SHOWING APPS THAT COME ON PHONE. We all add our favs from market and delete what we don't want so it is immaterial.

I was thinking of getting the SGII, but I got an Infuse in the meantime just to try out and now I'm more than happy enough with the phone that I'm just gonna save abit of money and stick with the Infuse.

With a custom rom on it with overclock kernel to 1.6ghz, the Infuse runs awesome! Sure it might still be theoretically slower than the SGII in everyday use, but I don't notice it and I'll stay with Infuse and its decent battery life. =)

I've had the iphone 3g, the 3gs and now have the 4th generation iphone. Apple needs to completly re-vamp the ios system for their customers. Its soooo bland and boring. Its great for old people that can finally use a 'smarty phone' but for adults there needs to be more there something more exciting. I definitely plan on purchasing the Infuse in the near future. : P one unsatisfied Apple customer!
