I want to get a guitar. I borrowed a friends for a weekend and I sucked hard but I want one anyway.

I figure for a couple hundred bucks I can get some used guitar and an amp.

@tribulation138 and @mbm13213after sucking around for a while I actually learned to play and write some sick riffs that other people like. guitaring is never a waste lol. takes a long time before you stop sounding shitty and the only riff you can do is Smokee on the Water lol.

honestly, i suggest getting a decent guitar like the epiphone les paul 100 factory b stock is like $130 cheaper, the factory b stock just means it either A has a blemish in it or B was sent back in, nobody knows for sure, but the blemishes aren't noticeable

And it sounds like a gibson which is at least $200 more exspensive, as for an amp, if you're just starting, just get a cheap fender amp or if you are fine with it, get a first act one, the gain on it is rough but it works.

hey mbm, I've been playing for 3 years, and I'd say stick to the basic equipment until you are sure you want to get into guitar... and when you are ready you should shell out about 750-1000 for a decent guitar

and then go up from there until you find your preferred guitar-amp combo

@mbm13213 It takes a while to get good, HOWEVER, if you psych yourself up and are CONFIDENT, that is ALL THERE IS TO GUITAR. Thinking you are the shit or you will be super super good, and just being confident to play and get better at playing loud. THe good players are always pushy with their ability, and the KNOW they are good, beyond the shadow of a doubt. Trust me, I have played guitar since I was about 6 years old, the only thing that got me good was just pushing it more and confidence.

This is when Dnzig had the best band i think. Chuck should have never been fired. That is mainly why the other two left in the first place. Go to John Christ's website and he tells you personally on hi's blogs.

Its just John Christ fooling around between songs on stage. The solo does kinda sound like a couple songs towards the last half of Danzigs first album. The only tabs u will find is if someone did it by ear or close watch by the video...
