  • hahahahahaha !!

  • Reply to dakarateboi What you say is completely true Saigon before Hoe Chi minh (hoe was purposeful mistake) People in Saigon were wealthy in a well developed city every one had cars, after Hoe a 60 cc motor bike is a car for a family of 5. Now we have Obama Nation promising US all health care and protection from all evil, While actually robbing us of our freedoms

  • Big swarm! Bloody hell.

  • crazy!

  • Prosperity only exists in big cities in Vietnam like Hanoi and Saigon, but 80% of Vietnamese population live in poor, underdeveloped rural areas. While corrupt communist leaders like Prime minister Nguyen tan Dung and President Nguyen minh Triet are multi-billionaires, a regular Vietnamese earns only $1 per day. More than 200,000 Vietnamese women from poor families, many as young as ten, are working as prostitutes and sex slaves in China, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea.

  • that is so truth. I lived in the remoted countryside. people still are very poor. they made about $1 a day.

  • well no shit sherlock.our country got more bomb drop on our head than ww2 and 1 combined. with all the destrution, you think a country could recover in 30 yrs?no.plus its doing a good job right now.the economy is booming

  • okay idiot.i think people are smart enough to get their own info,we don't need idiots like you to post comments like this on every viet video on youtube. 80% isn't that a bit to much.i used to live in a rural village in vietnam, and now most ppl living there are having better lifes than me,while i live in democracy Canada, i have to pay taxes on everything i buy.unlike vietnam i don't have to pay taxes for grocery. atleast you don't get track down and the government having every info about you.

  • @TOMP66666 It is true that VN population in the remote areas in very poor, and for this they have to thank the american invasion with the consequent longest, destroiful and cruel war of this century and almost 20 years of coward embargo (the hatred of loosers). Vietnameses are too capable for having reached the actual situation and in a few years , if nobody (phanlinhfa)will break again their balls, life standard will improve for more people (not for everyone, as US actual situation teaches)

  • go die in a car fire please ?

  • TP HCM = Tội Phạm Hồ Chí Minh

  • Since 1975, many many rich people believed in Vietnamese Communist regime of deceits entered in Vietnam to invest , finally they had to give up their money and ran out of Vietnam for their lives! Do you still believe of Vietnamese Communist? Ask them?

  • @dakarateboi Since 1975 a lot of people have entered in VN in order to invest, viet kieu and foreign, and they still continue their activity or live there. The only people I know that had to run away are 3 persons who thought to go there and make easy money with illegal speculations and have ruined the life of many local person, who invested their saving.

  • ye.but its obvious ppl these days are so stubborn and stupid to know anything about this.and what poverty is.the only ppl that run away are the criminals.atleast up till now

  • thiss place is becoming busy not the same as before

  • dang if this happens here in california the police would get freaked out haha

  • TP HCM = Tội Phạm Hồ Chí Minh

  • chính xác

  • and the funniest thing is they almost have no accidents. For 2 weeks I have seen only one

  • This is how the traffic should be. New York and Los Angeles should learn from this. Free traffic is how to solve traffic problem

  • how fast were those cars driving at? 5mph??? the driver must be stress out a lot lol. Damn i be mad if i i drive at 30.

  • who bought a car si an idiot. Motorcycle is the future of the transporrtation.

  • This traffic madness has to stop! If Vietnam doesn't want to waste its intellectual resource. Vietnamese are very intelligent people and we don't want to lose them. I'm asking the government of Vietnam to take initiatives regarding this matter!

  • you think anything can be done? it's a big city with too many people and a booming tourism industry, what do u expect? heck, if the most developed country in the world can't do a damn thing about the traffic in new york city, what makes you think the vietnamese government can do for saigon? it would take something like a magic wand to fix this-- but trust me, should that magic wand come to existence, the waiting list for it would already have too many signatures.

  • Um, yeah, I'm sure they'll get right on that problem for you. They should have a solution for you by next Tuesday.

  • do they not know how to drive on only one lane (if there even is one)?!!

  • These folks tolerated a corrupt Vietnamese government for years- driving under these conditions should be a cakewalk after having endured the crap they faced.

  • Wow! people are crossing over the centerline like it's not even there. Some dude was making a u-turn in the middle of nowhere.

  • As strange as it is these people are actually pretty skilled drivers. It seems like there was no accidents, which is crazy if you ask me!

  • Communist Vietnamese government is only talented in corruptness, oppressing innocent Vietnamese for money. They can murder Vietnamese for their ruling. Let see the chaos of traffic to know their stupidity and lying about Communist Heaven after they completely have seized the South VN! Horrible!

  • people in vietnam r like really good drivers and they dont drive that fast cuz if they hit a nuther driver by accident it doesnt do as much damage

  • Like some ants found some sweets infront. Going with a line together.hahahaha. nice video.

  • Good View, but terrible traffic. Actually, I leaved Vietnam for 5 years, and I have lived in Saigon for 16 years, and I used to driving like that. However, now I think I cannot drive motocycle in Saigon like before anymore. Thank you for posting this video, I miss Saigon.

  • Where is the STOP sign when you need one. Someone is going to get run over sooner or later. What happen if a drunker ride his bike. Do the goverment do anything about this? What happen to the tax money?

  • I'm guessing road laws are only seen as "guidelines" then!?

  • sorry. xe om!

  • i lived in HCMC for a year and took "se om" almost every ride. definitely think the traffic is a major tourist attraction if you are into seeing something that would never ever happen in the west.

  • the traffic jamb might be surprising for the tourists but not as fun for the ordinary Vietnamese person. They need to built a subway system. The hardest thing in VN is not driving a motorcycle, but driving a car!

  • i miss my city T_T , i really enjoyed to drive my motorbike , in my opinion , it's more comfortable than car, if you don't go so far :D

  • This was shot from the Indochine Apartment.

  • I miss it sooooooo much!!!!!

  • ki` quan cua the' gioi nam 2007 in VN

  • did u know police don't even care if u don't have a licence!

  • it's even a quite difficult to find a policeman

  • I feel my throat and eyes burn.

  • hahaha, mine too but it's very interesting watching it. i think its actually pretty cool. :)

  • a bit chaotic from a certain perspective, but for me someone whose been there i think you either love it or you hate it, i love it. there is never a dull moment on the streets of saigon. the livelihood of this city exceeds even new york.

  • My friend is a french man and he's just like you. Nothing makes him happier than sitting at the back of my motorbike and drive through the traffic of Saigon.

  • i ws there in dec 2006 on that street haha

  • ya lol bangkok is like this except with even more actual cars

  • there isn't

  • What the helll is this? looks like there are no traffic laws at all.
