Graphically looks even better than last year.

Glad to see the Playoff logo on the ice, and I am assuming its on the jerseys aswell.

Great new feature, adds a lot more in depth hockey and could be fun for new comers trying the game out.

Good to see lots of work done with the goalies, hopefully now this means they wont play like retards and do the splits wen the puck is 6 inches away from them, and all the have to do is poke it away o.O

If you watch closely, you can see that the defender did poke it, but it went straight to Zetterberg. I see what you mean, but I'm more concerned about how when he goes into boardplay, the defender just kinda stands there awkwardly until eventually coming to pin him. He also doesn't challenge him when he first goes in the corner, he just lets him go and stands there. I hope they fix the AI on that.

It was just an example, i think that wont happen well i hope that if u go too close to the boards you just start kicking if it around for aparent reason. I hope the defending player has to start the board play. Also your right the defender got a piece but he poked it more than to actually try to intercept it. I think its perfect and it'll be way better than NHL 09 watch the Kane trailer it's really nice. =)

According to EA, both offense and defense can initiate boardplay. You have to be near the boards and hit the "Y" button (on 360) and that will start it. You can also apparently kick the puck backwards as well as side to side. However I was also beginning to wonder if a human player is able to go up dig out a puck from a pinned player because that looks like a new animation that Staal is doing.
