These guys got way too tired right off the bat, they went all out in the first round looking for a home run hit and never really did anything... IMO, all you have to do is tire the other guy out then go ape shit in the second and third round. The second round was pathetic, looked like two elderly men trying to fight with a flare up of gout.

As a main event, this was horribly lame. I volunteer next year to take on Gordon Keith and display real violence.

Whether you consider going to the canvas a slip or a knockdown (it is sometimes hard to tell), each man went to the canvas 3 times each in this entire fight. Bowden scored an offical knockdown, while Volk scored an offical standing 8 count on Bowden ... which, in a way, is basically a knockkdown.

However you want to look at it, it was a close fight (but not nearly as violent as they claimed it was). In my view, Bowden won the 1st round and Volk won the last 2 rounds. Thus, Volk won the fight.
