I was suprisd to find a fletcher highlight video because ive never seen him make a good play. The only time i notice him is when hes whinning about not getting a call when he loses the ball cleanly lol. But really, hes terrible. A testiment to united i suppose because theyre basically playing with 10 men when hes on the field.

He won't be there in the starting line-up in a few hours. Giggs has gotten very good at central midfield, but can't say the same about Carrick.
If Fletcher was at his best he would definately be there, if central midfield fails I hope he can be considered as the man to take the task.

Even if he has no creativity he will sure as hell tire the hell out of anyone else. I have noticed our midfield passing forewords now more often ever since the Arsenal FA cup game. Stop complaining about Fletcher and think about Rooney. He expects everyone to pass it to him, he can barley trick a defender. Fletcher has the heart of a Red Devil. I dont understand what Ferguson sees in him, i watched Marseille vs United tonight and the performance was so poor. The cause of this was the midfield who lacked creativity. We still rely way too much on Giggs and Scholes. Park is great, sure. Gibson is horse-crap and needs to be sold. Anderson needs time to develop. We have no real GREAT midfielder in their prime at the moment, and for a club of our size, our central midfield is poor compared to Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea.

Fletcher is utter shit, isnt fit to wear a man utd jersey. United need creativity in centre midfield, how are we going to get that from the likes of Darren Fletcher, Gibson and carrick? When it comes to attacking these guys have no idea. Paul Scholes is still the best midfielder for united, but time is running out for him so we need new talent in centre mid, who can attack and create chances.

I was suprisd to find a fletcher highlight video because ive never seen him make a good play. The only time i notice him is when hes whinning about not getting a call when he loses the ball cleanly lol. But really, hes terrible. A testiment to united i suppose because theyre basically playing with 10 men when hes on the field.

Regardless, Fletcher is a quality player. A little reminiscent of the old game perhaps but he's still proven to be very effective. Calling people the best this and the best that is pointless because it's always a relative concept.
I think we can all agree the guy is great player, things at Man United always seem a little strange, but somehow they always make it work.

Every manager has their bogey player who they keep playing again and again, even when the fans are screaming for the player to be removed. I.e with rafa it was lucas. And might I add that if haters are going to compare Fletcher with other players today, at least do it right. Stop comparing him to the Gerrards, Xavis, Lampards and Fabregas of this generation. Compare him to Busquets, Lucas, De Jong, Mascherano, Essien. I'd choose either Fletcher or Essien, but Fletcher is ahead because he hardly gets injured.

Fletcher has no style, technique etc etc etc.. SO WHAT? Is that all there is to being a good central midfielder? Obviously not. The best thing about this boy here is his positioning, awareness and consistency. His off the ball running is phenomenal. He doesn't have speed or finesse. SO WHAT? He makes up for it with anticipation and effectiveness. United has plently of creative players. We need someone to obliterate our opponent's attacks and start our counterattacks. Fletcher is that someone.
