  • glorified space heater. nothing more. who cares about saving a few bucks if you and your family perish in a totally preventable fire? Call them "heater" the are space heaters, dangerous. EdenPure just dropped the space from the name to deceive as to what these really are, and the dangers associated with them

  • @keliata You really have a problem with these for some reason. But they are NOT just space heaters. I was badly burned on a space heater as a small boy. These are totally cool on the outside and use no gas so where's the danger? Please explain...

  • @simplecommentary Small space heaters are not the same as they were when you were a kid. Not even the ones that are $15.

Where's the edenpure made, china? How long do they last on average before they fail? They don't try to sell you garbage little junk like extra filters for "shipping and handling" do they?

They saw you coming from a mile away. Proof that a con artist is always a step ahead of their mark.

  • i have one and its lowered my bill by $20.00 :D:D

  • I am very happy with mine..I even bought an extra one for the hall....works wonderfully............

  • @pentogram23 We have 2 and we love 'em. Thanks for writing.

  • I have had my Eden pure for almost three years now. It's started rattling like the whole thing is getting ready to BLOWUP !! What's up with that. I clean the filter regularly.

  • @TheLizardKing1967 Beats me. I've just had ours 2 years. By the way I love reptiles and at one time had 2 Hydrosaurus (sail fin dragons). I used to have every kind of snake I could catch and of course the Burmese Python and Boas. My real favorite was a Brazilian Iguana. He was a beautiful bright green and the fringe on his spine was perfectly symmetrical and pointed. Like a fool I traded him for a dang Mexican Milk Snake and have regretted it ever since.

  • i agree with u i have had several heaters none are lik,e eden pure i don`t care what that negative guy says.eden pure puts out better heat.

  • @ericrepine Thanks man. I REALLY appreciate that. It funny how most of the people that disagree with me haven't tried it. Have a good 'un dude.

  • One of the few people that love there 800 investment. I have 2 Lasko towers i paid 96 dollars for that heat the house the same as these do. People need to understand you can only get 5000 btu out of 1500 watts of electric. These do the same thing as all the other space heaters out there they just cost 4 times the amount of money.

  • @Shorby99EK I appreciate your reply but disagree. I have purchased several 500 and 1000 watt electric heaters. They are fine if you're standing in front of them but that's it. How the heat is displaced is the key and Edenpure does the best job for me. Saying any heater of equal power will do the same job is like saying Bose is just a radio. I can't explain why but I do know that our 2 heaters heat our home well. Thanks.

  • @simplecommentary Bose is just a radio. Just a 1/4 tuned T line, But that is another scam all in its own.

  • @Shorby99EK Bose sounds better to me than the others. I have one. I love it. Eend of story for me. Thanks.

  • @Shorby99EK hahahahaha its so true.

  • eden pure has a built in humidifier, if you put water in it, it will humidify the air. my apri air 560 humidifier on my whole house furnace seems to work great. I live in st. louis missouri. cold as hell in the winter. dont need a piece of crap space heater.

  • @kurtzim62 Sorry but ya lost me here. I have 2 EdenPure heaters and neither of them has a humidifier built in. We have a great central heat unit and our basement and laundry rm floors are heated. Still these 2 heaters have lowered our bill substantially or I wouldn't claim they did. I appreciate your writing but I'm not really getting the meat of your comment. Are you calling these heaters crap? If so fine but we love.

  • richard karn says he loves his edenpure heater in his california home. i guess it works great when you have 75 degree days every day of the year. i paid 25 dollars for my 1500 watt space heater and it works fine.

  • @kurtzim62 I'm glad your happy with your $25.00 1500 watt heater. I've had several of those types of heaters and that is why I've been so impressed with the EdenPure heaters I have now. It was 3 degrees here this morning and our central heat was not on. These things work for us but to each his on. Be careful with your heater and have a great day.

  • @kurtzim62 You obviously haven't tried one. I have nothing to gain by praising these things. I do because of my personal experience. Our temp is often -0. I keep our central air on 66 and it RARELY kicks on. These 2 heaters keep our home very comfortable. Of course our home is built and insulated for this area. I don't appreciate being called a liar so if you don't like what I say then don't listen.

  • just wait you will soon be curseing edenpure. bought 2 and tonight the last one died. maybe 200hrs+ of use. I waisted my mony!

  • @238raymo This is the only negative thing I've heard about them. We have 6 months of really cold winter up here. Both of ours worked beautifully everyday and are continuing to do so now. I'd suggest you contact the company. I don't sell them and have nothing to gain by recommending them. However I do because of our personal experience. Did you keep your filters clean? Thanks for writing.

  • @238raymo Sorry you had a problem. No company has a perfect record. surely you used their warranty. But the facts I stated are totally accurate and the 2 heaters we used all last winter are doing the job again as I'm writing this. Did you keep the filters clean? That's all the maintenance I've done. Good luck.

  • Hi ! I have question. You posted this video a year ago & I was wondering if you had any problem since then.

  • @Dizzytaz00 I have 2. I just brought them up from the basement 3 days ago and plugged them back in. These things are amazing. They are quite and they do exactly what they claim. The only mistake I made was buying a smaller model for the master B/R. I found it is better to get the larger model and turn it down. My dealer traded me with no penalty. You'll love it. I promise.

  • @TheLizardKing1967 Thanks for your comment man. We originally bought the big one and the small one thin king the little guy would be OK for the BR. But we hated not having the remote and found it is better to have the larger one turned lower than the small one turned up. By the way... I used to raise lizards in TX. and even had a pair of Hydrosaurus (Sail Fin Dragons) at one time. Stupidly I sold them...

  • @TheLizardKing1967 That's awesome. I want one but how much is my electric going to go up. How much did yours increase in a month?

  • Comment removed

  • How much electricity does it use?

  • We have 2 heaters. Each is rated at 1500 watts. I originally bought a 1500 watt and a 500 watt. The 500 watt simply did not work for us so I traded it for the larger heater. It is better to have a larger heater turned down lower. Our winter power bills have honestly been cut by more than a third. I don;t sell them, they are simply great heaters.
