I've heard somewhere that the AFG is g2g on the Draco. A traditional broomhandle foregrip is a no-no. I think I actually might of heard that from GunWebsites.

The ATF has written several letters commenting on the afg it is good to go on ar pistol and such do a quick search of ar15.com and you will find lots of info on it

I'm pretty positive adding a AFG to your Draco would remain within the legalities. It being a pistol I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to be 922r compliant unless you SBR'd it.

Iraq veteran has a vid with the draco and an afg. I think the afg isn't classified as a vertical grip by the batfe. Don't quote me though

Hmmm, might improve my grip on the Garand....the one issue I have with that rifle is depending on how I am manoeuvring the grip can be awkward.

I've been tinkering with the idea of putting a rail under the front portion of the stock but I really don't want to ruin the wood. My search for an aftermarket synthetic stock has come up dry...

@rooftopeagle Go to midway usa dot com type Garand stock in the search there is a synthetic stock for a Garand made by ram line on the first page. Ram line's mag are not that great I hear, but I know nothing about their stocks so maybe it'll work for you.

@J3rEmY17 thanks, I've looked at the Ramtech stocks, they look decent and I might buy one so I don't feel bad about drilling or modifying it to hold a rail but what I was looking for was something with a rail at least on the underside of the stock forgrip.

There are some okay synthetic stocks but I'm not looking for a hunting stock...that's where the search is dry.

U shouldnt have any legal issues with the handstop at all, the afg/vert grip does make it an AOW ( any other weapon )

Patriot5401 beat me to it, im rooting for a larue or gear sector handstop, that would be badass, u dont see that much on an ak specially a drako! I just swapped my afg1 for an afg2 and im glad i did,  did lve the way the wings wrapped around to my xtm's but im realy diggin how much shorter the gen2 is compared to the gen1 and my fav part s the steeper angle on the gen2! Great comparison vid, i was just about to fo one on my channel! Btw, u got some fine weapons Hoss!!

I agree with hammergodsix its somewhat like adding a stock onto a pistol with shorter than a 16" barrel witch would categorize it as SBR instead . But dont know how true it is but i have see in a few forums about it being legal now for the magpul afg's to be mounted also a vid on here also saying the same all talking about BATF form i did a google search and seen links to the form. But i want solid proof first

lol, started to laugh in the first second because right now I have my M4 next to me with the same fucking AFG/Sure fire set up. My 870 is set up the same damn way too. Guess great minds (or retards) think alike.

Digging the camo job, looks sick . Dunno about an AFG on an 870 though... Might be nice. You should be good to go for an AFG on an AK pistol. Hell, the magazine is nothing more than a fuckin' foregrip...

to put a grip on the draco you have to pay a tax and register it as an AOW, my opinion is its just a way for the government to screw you over if you dont want to pay to make it an SBR
