  • I don't remember my shrimp having pincers.

  • The first shrimp is waving his claws around all "Y U NO LEAVE ME ALONE???"

  • WHAT WAS THAT BIG RED THING

  • once a ghost shrimp is bigger hen 2" its not a ghost shrimp any more. Especially with those claws.. looks like you have some macrobrachium shrimp.. they are pretty nasty aggressive shrimp.

  • nice shrimps you got there just couple of questions since i have four of those, fresh water or saltwater, what do you feed them does the food differ with the water type and do they like a bright place or a dark one

  • @MrBigbrainer shrimps will eat any thing algae, fish food shrimps are omnivore i put a moss ball and my 3 ghost shrimps love eating it

  • Wait which one is male

  • what you feed them?

  • wow so big!

  • Woah.. they're big! I just got 2 to go in my new 5 gallon with my Betta Bluegrass :D I think they're the same sex as eachother, which is good cuz I'm not prepared for breeders, and I'm a little concerned that Bluey will nip them. I saw him nip one once but it's brown seethru shrimp with brown gravel so they're cammo.

  • aaay, you have a bamboo shrimp. Nice. Not my account, mines Foster88888..

  • How big do these guys get? I just got one today from petsmart and I put him into a 5 gl with 2 guppies... They were curious about him but I think he scared em off! I dunno I posted the vid on my Chanel I just wanna know how big he'll get.... I don't even know if it's a male or female :/

  • @NatashaG1987

    Hey Natasha,

Generally to about 2 inches. The bigger clawed variety get bigger.

Just watched some of your videos. WOW!!!!

Bet you can't guess what my favorites are. I'll give you a hint, they bring out the animal instinct in me but they don't contain any animals in them.

  • @snotbog1 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! thanks!!!! glad you liked my videos :) now as for the shrimp... which kind do i have? and is it a boy or a girl? or is it impossible to tell right now? its pretty small... about the size of my guppies, minus the tail

  • @NatashaG1987

Oh, it's definitely a woman. Oh, wait a minute. You were asking about the shrimp. Golly, I'm not sure. A good way to tell might be to play the shrimp one of my favorite videos of yours and just wait for the reaction. (wink, wink)

  • @snotbog1 LMAO!!!!!! hahahahahahahahhaha!!!! you've been a TERRIFIC help!!!! thanks ;)

  • @NatashaG1987

No problem. I found out that mine were not actually necessarily male and female but different species so there ya go.

By the way, aren't Dobermans the coolest dogs?? I had 2 growing up. Loved and miss them.

How's the modeling biz? Are you based in Toronto? My bother was an international model. He worked a lot in Milan and Tokyo. I tried it but didn't like it. I do music full time now.

  • @snotbog1 GEEZ! you'd expect the pet store to tell ya that wouldn't you?

and YES Dobes are the GREATEST!!!! SO smart and SO fun loveing, affectionate, obedient and the list goes on and on!!!! one of the GREATEST breeds on the planet!!!!

the modeling was just a hobby... i went from doing a bunch of photoshoots per year... to just doing 2 or 3... i'm a midget by industry standards... and glamour won't get ya no where unless you endelve yourself COMPLETELY into it and don't expect to get paid

  • @NatashaG1987

I hear you. Modeling biz. is rough. Great when you're working. Hungry when you're not.

Yeah, I think girls need to be what, around 5'10" to 6 feet? My brother's wife is around six feet tall.

  • @snotbog1 5'8" BARE minimum

  • Thumbs up for the bumblebee :) I like these little guys I got 2 of them.

  • so these are the "shrimp" you get in the shrimp cupo noodles

  • ghost shrimp do not have huge claws like the one you have. they are also more clear, at least when they are healthy

  • what was yellow and black fish there? I saw those at pet store somewhere... can you tell me what is it?

  • @GRimmEhx15 That's some kind of saltwater fish I believe, therefore I think the shrimp must be a type of saltwater shrimp because freshwater ghost shrimp cannot live in saltwater.

  • I have 6 neon tetras. Will the ghost shrimps do anything to them?

  • @Pasino10

    maybe stare at them

  • @snotbog1 lol tht is hilarious

  • @Pasino10 yes no doub it , i had once this kind of shrimp

  • @Pasino10 actually the tetras will do sumzin they will try to annoy the shrimps till they die thats wat i heard

  • shit big ass claws on them lol

  • are they salt water and fresh water please i need to know?

  • @123codfan

    fresh

  • @123codfan fresh water

  • I just put two of these in my turtle tank and theyre not even an inch long yet. They're really hard to see! The turtle surprisingly hasn't made any effort to eat them.

  • How big are your shrimp? They look huge! Either that or you must have great zoom lol.

I love my little pet shrimp :)

  • i hav some ghost shrimp but they all died because of the fish

  • i got 8 ghost shrimps wit 2 fiddler crads u think the crabs will eatem

  • @OscarBallz

    possible

  • I think the one with the big claws is a algae eating shrimp because of the black dots on it's sides. I'm not sure what the other one is.

  • @Mickmenta It's just a ghost shrimp like the title says

  • @Mickmenta it's also ghost shrimp , the type of dot shrimp u were saying is call Amano shrimp or Yamato shrimp ...

Their dot is much more visible and larger ^^

  • are the shrimps hard to take care of?

    Just fish food?

  • @BlueLemonKnight

    pretty much

  • I don't think these are ghost/glass/grass shrimp but Macrobrachium lanchesteri, aka the asian riceland prawn.

  • wtf do ghost shrimps grow claws?

  • @wigahiga yea small ones that you can't really see this vid shows big claws tho lol

  • needs some cocktail sauce

  • what do you even feed them??

  • @hmongboy9161

    fish food

  • @snotbog1 same

  • Dude those are huge compared to the ones that I have.

  • is the female the bigger one? how big does the male get?

  • I believe these are different species of shrimp.

  • lol cool shrimp. His claws are all looking around for something to snatch up!

  • nice shrimp man shrimps in a tank look cool until the big fish comes and eat them. unless just get small fish like you have and they will live. heheh

  • My shrimp lived 2 1/2 years with fish 6, 7, 8 up to 12 inches long.

  • When I saw the one with the big claws I freaked out thinking mine would look like that but then I read the commnets

  • how can u tell which is a male and which one is a female?

  • It turns out that the one I thought was a male is actually a red-clawed shrimp.

  • they're massive compared to the ones i used to hav, but they got eaten :(

  • thanks, yeah, the larger ones body alone is over 2 inches

  • Those guys are more or less related to chameleon shrimp. the long pincers on the male arent in Normal 1-1.5" male ghost shrimp lol.

  • I think the one with the claws is a red claw shrimp. I'm still researching it. I'll look up chameleon shrimp. Thanks

  • np man, gl with your search.
