  • i did it thank you so much man you saved my friends life

  • you did not mention how to take the screen off the motherboard Fail :X

  • TY BRAH! just like new now :)

  • I have the same PSP, and I have tried everything to get this thing fixed. I bought the same exact screen as you have in this video. I have a problem when I turn the PSP on; nothing happens to the screen. I've followed videos, instructions, and help from email, but still; nothing. When I connected the LCD, I put it back in the LCD Cage, then turned the PSP on, and the screen did not light up, at all. I've even tried taking the screen out multiple times. :\ Is there anyway you could assist? Thanks

  • @RobloxHackers its bricked then

  • PLEASE HELP

    Can i put a psp-1000 screen into a psp-2000?

    I need a response fast!

  • @WingedEllmo I would have to see what you are talking about but my guess is no because the Psp 2000 is considerably smaller than the 1000

  • @WingedEllmo Sorry, but no.

  • @WingedEllmo No, the ports are different

  • @WingedEllmo no.

  • you deal great I followed you all the way and now my psp is back online thx!!!!

  • You failed to mention that when taking the contacts out of the motherboard (the ones attached to the screen) that you have to lift the black tabs in order to get em out easy.

  • @tofuonophd I did not "fail" to mention that because failing would require me trying to tell you that which I did not. That was not the case on my psp

  • Comment removed

  • my psp screen carked now i need a new one ty for showing me how to replace it

  • I cant unscrew the screww

  • I couldn't get that smaller cable back on, finally I got it after 1.5 hr.

    Then I turned it on...

4 lazy pixels on the left side near the edge. I was like WTF?!

While my old screen had 1 dead pixel on the right.

Those 4 on my new screen only show up on black, I hope they ever turn good.

At least it's better than before, I'm not getting frustrated any more.

And btw the LCD screen only cost $ 5,99 so.

  • cheers this will help when i get my destroyed psp from ebay

  • ur lucky

  • wat size screw driver did u use

  • I think it is #001 but most small screwdrivers will work..

  • @ThePspNinja THUMBS UP MAN!!! I couldn't do this. I'm too clumsy

  • @ThePspNinja

Will a psp 2000 screwdriver work with psp 1000

  • Thanks!

  • Nice vid just needed to know how it was done 5 stars Thanks.

  • this helped alot!

one thing you didnt mention. i guess its on a certain generation of the 1000 but there is 4 screws on the left side. 2 of them are under a sticker at the bottom. warranty will void if it is removed so be careful.

  • I recently saw a video of that... thank you ill put it in the annotation :)

  • the psp1002. You also need to be weary of which screw goes where. I made the mistake of putting a larger screw which pushed against the lcd screen which cracked it

  • so true it is important to do that
