I have to ask you; Why i don't have those tools in the upper part of the computer, those cubes, etc? do they come with the free sketchUp? or where? oops!
one thing to note is that we're working on a mac, so the UI is a little different. both platforms are customizable though. on a PC go to the View > Toolbars menu and then you can pick which toolbars you want to have open and you can also move them around. on a MAC, right click on the top toolbar and then choose the option for 'customize'. then you can drag the various tool icons up into the toolbar and move them around.
