  • wow, sounds awesome, f..k this is beautiful. i love it. i wished i can play like you. this is perfeckt.

  • Wow--very nice. I enjoyed this. I love the Gretsch. I just got a 5129 electromatic last month.

  • Thanks for stoppin' by ianwadesdad! Gretsch guitars definately have their own voice. Beautiful guitars. I play an old Nashville on our Besame Mucho video...check it out if you get the chance.. Lar

  • What do you think of your precision bass can you get a lot of lows out of it with a warm tone as well as with a more twangy tone?

  • Hi ninjawannabe44,

My P bass is very old and has a great warm tone. It is fairly versatile and a lot of the sound depends on the amp and settings. I love it! Thanks for checking the vid out.

  • Hi Rodney! Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!

  • I know the tune but I've never known the name. Sounding great Lar! Must get myself a Gretsch. What strings do you use on it? On my Washburn J6 which is a poor mans equivilant I use D'addario half rounds .13 to .56.

  • Those are great for the jazz sounds... I use chrome .11s on a lot of the hollow bodies.. 10s usually on the solids...

  • What make do you use though Lar?

  • D'addario for me also... only the 11s are the "chrome" type... They are a bit more expensive but sound really good for the jazz tunes... If you do a lot of bending, don't use the chromes, or at least get them in 10s...they are a bit stiffer then the regular D'addarios...

  • Wow look at that mixing desk-I'm so jealous!!Not that I'm any good at anything technical-still don't know how to set the video recorder! Anyway-This is lovely Lar!

  • Hi Becky! Wecome to (as someone once told me) my laboratory,,,haha! hope you're enjoying the weekend!

    Lar

  • You must identify with Lars hat Becky? All that's missing is some pidgeons and black pudding lol. Only joking my friend, but when the thought springs to mind lol. Excellent player is he not.

  • I've lost you there Classican!! Have you been on the beer?

  • Yes

  • Ha! I'm having (as we say over here) a bad hair day....

  • Nice Lar! Love that falcon!!! :)
