So unfair...I had Omega BEAT! Then on his final attack, he uses Meltdown, which does 6000+ damage each party member. Any idea what triggers a Meldown before his death? Or is it just bad luck that he does it by random chance? The attack that killed him was Thundaga, I believe.
@Liqiudsidious I heard that, but I didn't use a Blue Fang. I could swear I remember reading he could randomly cast Meltdown as a final desperation attack before dying.
@amarillo315 Sorry for the late reply but it could be possible that he uses meltdown if his elemental weakness is exploited. I can't see anything on the final fantasy wiki saying he uses it as a desperation attack. If you haven't beat him yet, good luck
It's actually easy if you just use Edge's throw command(Fuma Shuriken). They pierce right through Omeguard with full damage and take it out one level too, with no counter. I just attacked with only Edge and used everybody else for healing, he's super fast too so it didn't take too long.
@madskilliz He doesnt't use Black Hole often enough to make Haste useless. Fighting without it will make it difficult to outheal his attacks(at least on lower level and without adamantites defence)
No, probably not. During the chapters you already repeat some dungeons some times. It just gets boring enough the first playthrough. Like the Undersee tunnel. What's with Squares love for this stupid dungeon? Walking like 5 times through that thing...
Rosa has less MP than Porom, less spirit than porom, learns magic on later levels and most important: Rosa can not learn Dualcast.
I don't know why you are posting this. Many Chars I'm using aren't the best in their job. But I won't choose my party by power. I use those I like the most.
No disrepect, you have a nice 2nd generation party going there. But it'd be INSANE to get all that adamantite for everyone in the party, I only went thru the challenge dungeons a few times each so I only had enough for 1 adamant armor and 2 adamant gloves, the gloves aren't that great though since I found some extremely rare crystal rings instead. You should try with a team of Luca, Edward, Cid, Calca, and Brina next or Edge and his ninjas.
Yeah, you cold use all the overpowered charakters for an easy win OR you could use the people you have fun with...Don't forget your full adamant equip on everyone and enjoy killing everthing in a brezze which was meant to be challenging.
@fmthebaron What makes Rosa better than Porom? Porom can get Dualcast, while Rosa Cannot, Porom also has better spirit stats and is more effective as a white mage.
Rosa is better physically, but that's moot, as white mages should never need to attack physically. And blessing is better than pray, but it's a small issue.
Another thing of note is this party has a 5 character band that's quite damaging, although tricky to make use of.

Golbez BLOWS after your party gets around lvl 50. I do like Edge's speed and his ninja spells are pretty effective with low mp cost.

I like that you're entire party consists of no one from the usual "main" cast. Too many people just use the original FF4's final party :(
