Not bad Snuffles, lean into the AR a bit more next time, but you still managed to control it pretty well. The Springfield though, keep in mind it's an automatic, not a revolver. With a revolver it makes a bit more sense to kind of "catch" the recoil with your arms (even though it's not great form) but with an automatic, like that springfield, get into it, manhandle that gun, show it whose boss! don't let it kick you around like that or you can't land follow up shots. Glad you shot when you came!

yeah that's what they teach us in the British Army. But I've found it easier to simply hold my breath. I've got marksman status now with a 1.8" grouping from 50metres with a SA80.
