Reasoning was not by power, but by traits of villains. Aizen got number one because he's the only villain I know of in an anime that has yet to be defeated, he made quick work of everyone he fought even the main protagonist (hero), and he planned out his betrayal for a long time and executed it flawlessly. As well as controlling most of the soul reapers with his zanpakuto and getting the only person immune to his zanpakuto (Tossen) to join his side. That's the reasons for my number 1.

I don't know about that if you watch it it's not bad it just has waaaaaaaaaaay too much filler. I'd rather watch inuyasha if I wanted to see a billion episodes of filler. Itachi is a pretty awesome villain though. I prefer bleach though as by my number one choice being Aizen.

well naruto fillers suck and so do regular episodes the anime is horrible fighting scenes suck so much and the story line is all over the place its a horrible anime and the character lack character development character jump out of tree and bam there's another new character its horrible. as to inuyasha yes its long but it continues with the anime and almost every episode has a coll story to it way better the naruto but yea my number one hands down souske AIZEN hands downnnnnnn
