a good way to get around in the under ground fast is to lay moving traps in the way you want to go.

Go to Enterna City And look around until you find the Underground Man's house,He'll Give ya An Explorers Kit.Then you need to do a few Simple tasks such as Digging Up Treasure.Oh,After you obtain the Kit,Select it from the Key items,You'll be asked to save your game. :) Then Dooown you gooooo!

to get a scyther you gotta beat the elite 4 and go to the place where the battle tower is one that giant island and go to the right of that. THEY ARE RARE AND HIGH LEVELED

That means youre carying too many traps. Youll have to get rid of one and then buy the drill. I think thats the problem, might be somehting else.

After you get the National Dex, you are able to find other fossils underground.

If you want to you can bury them in the ground to let them grow, throw them away or use them to buy stuff.

You have to keep patient. Fossils are rare. Check out guides at Gamefaqs(dot)com for more info on the underground.

The kit is in one of the early towns of the game. Make sure to look in every house for it. Sorry, but I cant remember the town right now :(

You build a secret base by using a drill on a wall, you get a drill from a trap vender for some spheres.
