I think that you are right that this candy theme would make a super cute centerpiece in a basket or something like that.
Only the title and tags are searchable on YT so you need to include the words baby shower in there somewhere (nag, nag, nag) ;)
Happy to hear your mom is progressing well, I think the only restriction my mom had with her hip was that she couldn't bend passed 90 degrees, stairs are doable but would take a while to go up and down them.
