If you feel the leaves are covering the shoots... next time just move the leaves UNDER other leaves or branches, so light can get into the plant. I do this and get awsome results! I've heard BAD things about pruning the MJ plant.
np.. also i would check out Jason0930's Topping 101 vids (topping/lolipopping) he explains it very well. It makes sense to manipulate your plants to grow as an upside down triangle because most of your bud development will not occur toward the bottom of your plant but more at the top. So if you have an upside down triangle growing then of course you have more bud potential sites and less nutes/energy being stolen by the lower not so productive part of the plant ya dig?
top the main shoot once and leave the fan leaves.the create the energy for you plants to make more growth.you are just slowing the grow by taking off "solar panels" that make energy. by topping once the side branches will catch up and give you an even bush.
Well, I've always heard to never remove fan leaves unless they're ready to fall off on their own or damaged. They are where most of photosynthesis on the plant occurs and thats how you get alot of the resins that the plant will produce. But i've also heard its ok to do so to help light penetrate the new growth. I just cut some in half. Throw them leaves out. The best thing u can do with the leaves is make hash.. but you would need 100g of leaves to make about 10g of hashlol looks good tho peace
fancy setup, isn't it to loud by night? Would be nice if you had a look into my project!
