@briansmobile1 my dog also didn't like the harness at first but it is worth the trouble. he can pull MUCH faster and it doesn't pull on his neck. He also didn't like "laying down" or "staying" at first, and again, it was worth it.
@longboardpeace1116 They do need to be fixed. It's an old neighborhood. Poor Red ate some chicken bones that tore him up pretty good. He'll be out of commish for the next month or so. The Vet said he had cancer, but I found the chicken bones in his poop. Poor pup.

But wish youd wear a helmet, i read this story about a skateboarder who did the same thing everyday and he hit one bad crack and hes missing half his head now still alive though.
@Krosstika1 I wear a helmet when I motocross or ski. Around town like this the horns just scare pedestrians. I'm afraid they'd run out into traffic ; )

My dog just LOVES to run! In a 5mi stretch he has 3 trees he likes to stop at. I'm happy to just let him. Besides we usually do a set routine so it's kinda been there done that for him.
When I come to a crack etc. I bounce up so my weight is off the board and the board goes over the obstacle no problem. I noticed that when I jumped off my MX bike in the air it would land and roll off fine on it's own. Skateboards do the same.
What do you do when you come to an uneven spot in a side walk, or high crack. Does your board ride over it or do have a technique to lift the wheels over.
I bought Redford a harness, but he hates it. He actually loves the whole neck-pull feeling (weird?) In a harness he just goes in circles trying to get it off. w. a leash he's ALL pull.

yeah my dog finds it much more comfortable with a collar rather than a harness but we use one anyway.

you should stick him in a harness so it doesn't pull on his nesk. I do this with my bull terrier. Great fun.
